- In the first ever version of the game, the Captain Robert Witterel shot himself in the brain instead of his face.
- The first demo version of the game had no dialogue at the beginning of the game including changed first lines, the game was also way more pixelated and more choppier, the transition to the memories was slower, the music that played during those transitions was lower in volume and very low quality, and during the ending of the memories, your watch would stay in your hand and the book of fates would not appear but instead put you back in the game.
- In the first ever version of the game, the book of fates is not immediately in your position, but you had to instead pick it up after entering in the second main story room and finding on a bookshelf. The book of fates had everything put together, expect the fates, which at the time were only 3
- The ending of the first demo ended during the Abigail Hoscut Witterel scenario, which contained different lines with no voiceover from the actress, it then ends with a text saying that the demo ended.
