Comically Realistically Hysterical!!
dugbok26 October 2022
These two grest actors/comedians are hilarious, it was believably hysterical !! So many relationships are still together with all that they share in this non-stop banter of issues the've decided to openly dump on all their different therapist ( who themselves are funny too!) left me wanting more !! The constant issues they have obviously been a part of their ongoing relationship only deepens. The setting on each office visit are completely different, yet the issues continue to almost worsen as the issues only pull back scabs to expose the long lived issues that should have them separated and divorced, yet they also seem to hold them together. OUTSTANDING and HILARIOUS!!

LOVE this show

How do you make a show about two guys navigating a broken marriage funny?

You bring in a couple of comedic geniuses, Jason Stuart and Mitch Hara, add some fantastic writing and trust extraordinary director Terri Hanauer with the direction.

Add a cast of perfectly cast oddball guest stars and you have Smothered - a great little bite-sized comedy that will leave you wanting more.

Fortunately, the series has been green-lit for a second season.

We should all hope for many more.

Season knocks it out of the park!

Jason Stuart's work is so subtle and funny. Mitch Hara is the character you love to hate. Amanda Bearse made laugh out and shines as the bull dagger. This show needs to be a longer heavies I can't get enough if Ralph and Randy! The bar was really raised In terms of the look of the show and the extended world of the series. I also really love the parents as it it gave us as a look from where these two guys came from and why they were so abusive to each other and everyone they seem to meet. I wish season row brought back Pancho Mohler back as their therapist. He was really kind of sexy. I also love Carole either either Ita White as the prison social worker. I don't know if people know this, but her father was Jesse Wyatt, the Maytag repairman.
