- Beginning of the journey in Split: Raphaël meets Mathieu Grinberg and they walk through the old town, listen to a choir and end at the promenade: they take a boat to Hvar island and arrive at the hotel managed by Mathieu: then they make a car tour on the island where they meet Ivo Zaninovic, a lavender producer. On the next day Raphaël travels to Kastel Zegarski: he meets there Alba Zoe Grzinguid and Petar Rastija: they make a kayak trip on the rive and discover a nice waterfall where Raphaël enjoys swimming.Then Raphaël is in Dubrovnik: in the old town he meets Igor Hajdarhodzic, a comedian, artist and boat repairman.They walk through the old town and take a cable-car: a beautiful panorama over Dubrovnik.Later Igor and Raphaël take a boat to Lokrum island: there Igar is his workshop in which he teaches young people to repair the boats.A firemen leads them to a cliff where they can see a cave and a small lake (salted water coming from the sea ).On the next day Raphaël is in Zadar where he meets Ivica Storic, a journalist: they visit the historical center (an island): then in the streets of the town they see a political campaign for the town hall and end at the promenade looking at the sunset (Alfred Hitchcock said that place was beautiful).Later Ivica and Raphaël take the ferry to the island of Pasman: a little car ride and they arrive at the house of the parents of Ivica, Gordan Storic and An Senka Storic who invite Raphaël to drink a grass of raki: then they go fishing and looking for vegetables in the garden: for supper a salad of wild asparagus and other vegetables seasoned with olive oil.Raphaél and Ivica walk through the village and meet Nevena Dujhovic and her folkloric group "Kud Bokolje": Raphaël listens to Croatian folk songs and then dances with the group a traditional Croatian dance. Besides we see zooms about the Croatian islands at the Adriatic Coast, about the the school teacher and the farmers on Pasman island, about the archipelago of Brijuni (memories of two housekeepers, about the national park of Brijuni (the elephant Lanka), about Istria (the truffle hunters in Paladini, the olive trees and the restaurant San Rocco), about Tea Batinic (the female guide in Dubrovnik) and Lena (the painter of Dubrovnik), about the shipyard Ulianik in Pula, about the Gorski Kotar, about the bears , and about the cliff climbers in the Plakenica area.—zutterjp48
