Brilliant, dark and intense.

Nina Hoss is superb as serial killer, Claudia and the rest of the cast don't disappoint either. The best episode of the German trilogy for me.

I watched each of the three episode presentations. This is, without a doubt, the best of them all. The woman who plays the serial killer is outstanding, as is the rest of the cast. She is a believable sociopath, sort of a Manson girl. Whatever drove her, it had to be a need for love. As a middle-school teacher, I have seen this kind of dynamic. These didn't lead to the consequences presented here, but that connection to the worst kind of partnership is all over the place. Just watch the news and see what power certain men have over women. It's almost a daily occurence.
