It loses something when not watching live, of course it does, but that doesn't stop this episode being an awful lot of fun.

Some great examples of going wrong, some great lines and moments.

Lovely stuff overall.

Brave and Brilliant

An incredibly difficult thing to do live but I love that they didn't play it safe and went for dialogue and gags that would've taken skill to get right when done live.

Of course it didn't go perfectly but you wouldn't expect it to. The review names for Juan's act were hilarious as were Anna and Toby performing the song together. Lee and Juan's interaction at the coffee shop was one of my favourite scenes.

Another classic episode of Lee messing up and having to fix his own messes only to end up making things worse. A working formula for this brilliant sitcom. Topped off with a fun knife throwing act. Certainly was fun to watch live.

That's a Ciabatta!

Lee Mack, you are an absolute legend, your writing, acting, personality, and all around awesomeness was never more evident then in this episode. The delivery of each cast member was terrific, such nerve from all concerned to do this live.

THE only great British sitcom we have, and this episode ranks as one of the best, so funny throughout, I loved the Corbyn jokes, I loved the improvisations, and just everything about it.

Sally Bretton's fluff was hilarious, the comebacks were terrific.

Where other sitcoms are sadly looking and feeling very tired, this little gem just keeps on getting better. More please!!!

No this wasn't Lee Mack writing this. 10/10!!

I think Lee Mack took his queue from the BBC3 Two pints of lager and a packet of crisps live special. Lee juggles some eggs and Toby and Anna sing a difficult song.

To show it was live, the writers put some topical gags in such as what exactly did Jeremy Corbyn say in Parliament.

Sally Bretton fluffed a line and I think it was not deliberate, you can never tell.

The plot was Lee and Lucy putting a Christmas show for the kids school to raise funds for charity.

They get Juan, a knife throwing act as the star attraction. Lee gets a bit jealous when Juan starts flirting with Lucy. So Lee writes some fake online reviews to put Lucy off.

However Lee feels guilty when Juan loses other work.

When Juan walks out of the show, there is still a knife throwing act to do on live tv.

Fun and entertaining enough, I think it worked as a live Christmas special. It would not had been a strong regular episode.

End this, used to love the show, but it's becoming painful to watch.
