When the faulty oil pressure warning light was tested, the problem was described as a short circuit that caused the light to engage when no real problem existed. However, the ohmmeter connected to the faulty switch showed a reading of "OL" (Out of Limits) which indicates infinite resistance, or an open circuit, not a shorted one. The meter should have read zero ohms resistance, not infinite.
