Decent but misguided summary
stevedawson-3243625 December 2018
All in all, very good. However for Netflix to say that the opening of a New York restaurant (Ep. 2) is one of the top World's top seven events is a stretch and a half. This is a problem with Netflix's show overview, not the restaurant might I add.

Lead in

It's not the aftermath (though you get a bit of that too), but rather the lead up and into an "event". Now that may be the crux of it all for some though. The docu series is well done and it really has a nice pace overall to it. The question for some of the viewers may be: am I interested in a dog show? In a fashion event? Re-opening of a restaurant? Or whatever will come next (in season 2 and so forth)? If the answer is yes, I don't think you need me or anyone else to further convey and convince you to watch this.

If not, well you know the answer to this one too. Interviews are good and you can imagine there is so much more stuff that could not make it into the running time of every episode. Again depending on your taste, you may find certain episodes more enticing and exciting than others ... that will be up to you and maybe you'll watch only those ...

Usually I don't like documentary series but I really liked the variety of the events. If only I could be part of them myself!

A squandered opportunity

A squandered opportunity.... The Cassini mission: I wanted this to be so much more than just filer material. There could have been so much more discussion about the discoveries, about the engineering involved. Instead I have to watch someone pick up their sisters from the airport...really? You have access to NASA scientist and engineers.

This surprised me

I started watching because I was interested in Chanel, but I ended up watching more and getting really into it. I never knew about League of Legends and I feel like I learned a lot. It's interesting to learn about thing I'm not familiar with, and the behind the scenes action really represent these niche communities and the events they put on.

Invigorating. Inspiring. The Fine Art of the Documentary
artdonovandesign29 December 2018
Here, in the wide, wonderful scope of subjects in "7 Days Out", the art and science of editing location documentaries is shown at its finest.

The varied subjects, from Chanel' s Paris culture show through NASA's 'Cassini' space craft open and proceed flawlessly. The stories build from a million small details to form a cohesive and very exciting whole. But, ultimately, these docs are about the people. Their wonderful worlds shown in full without pretense, lead nor hindrance.

All in, "7Days Out" wins the roses.

Meh

The restaurant episode was so dumb, it's just them renovating and talking about how amazing they are for an hour. There was no substance at all. Nobody cares.

Obsessed with this show, literally made an IMDb just to write this. I love the pacing and the ticking clock of the 7 days make the anticipation grow.

All The Excitement Of Dinner At The Nursing Home
johnseegers1 January 2019
No real build up of 7 days here at all. More or less an odd collection of boring stories that happen to coincide with a big (certainly not biggest) event of some kind. I guess the writer/director/Netflix didn't bother to actually check on what the biggest events are. Oh, and showing dogs is NOT A SPORT you morons. It is a business, activity or a hobby. Sport? What?
