The licence plate 3ZR 492A appears on a number of vehicles supposedly in London, including a black cab & Bartok's car. Deliberately, it is an invalid UK plate number, in the same way that invalid "555" telephone-numbers are cited in many TV shows.
Ali's arrest report has dates in US format, which would never be used in a British police document.
