Unexpectedly good

The first season was a disaster. Honestly, I wasn't going to watch the second one. But... I got interested. No regrets, the season premiere is much better than every episode of the previous season. I like that so many new details were revealed, like "the voice" of the Purge and the whole agency that controls the rules being followed. I hope the season will continue expanding the universe and the quality of the episodes will at least remain the same.

What an awesome first ep. Hooked line and sinker, a new spin from the last season. New characters and storyline's.

Keeping up the level and more

Excellent ideas introduced to this new season. Taking it way beyond the naff slasher fix it could be to get some insight and thought from the set up. I really like that the show makers and writers have taken the opportunity to make it something more than the bare minimum to get viewers. Keeping it smart and sharp.

Significantly better than the first season

I wasn't going into this with much expectations, just coming off season 1 which in my opinion was watchable at best.

The introduction scene already has more going for it. We get a bunch of completely new characters all in different scenarios much like it's predecessor but it's more effective this time with more variety. There's even an "OH MY GOD" moment if you're a fan of the Purge films.

I won't say much more to avoid spoilers but if you're a fan of horror I would advise you to skip season 1 and jump straight into this.

Fingers crossed it keeps this momentum!

Season one is good but season 2 is awesome man...The purge movies is my favorite and this series is also good..I really want The purge season 3.

Towards the end of the episode they say it's a major crime this half foot in, but how about all those guys on the floor inside? Somehow nobody notices or mentions them? They are just okay there? Everything else okay, but I can't really stand for this bs just for the sake of the episode.
