Boring story.. characterization was so bad overall.. except lakshmi rai, all others were very average :( looks like - all acted first time.. Music was good. Screenplay was good, but overall a very boring attempt :(

This movie is not bad and interesting and different from most Cinderella adaptations.

Effects are cool and I'm a bit surprised because Tulasi (aka cinderella in this story at least) saw the 2015 live action remake disney cinderella and I think it's the best live action disney adaptation makes sense because Tulasi seems to like the movie (probably). And in the scene where she is being tortured there is a 1950 Disney movie poster, Cinderella and Aurora stickers. I don't know why there is an Aurora sticker in her room, maybe she mistakenly thought that Aurora was Cinderella or maybe she also likes Aurora. But the character introduction is a bit chaotic and irregular, especially the Policewoman who is also Sandra's victim. And it didn't explain how the blue dress came to be in the antique shop when Tulasi's body was buried with the dress.

A few jump scares

A few jump scares fail to improve the movie which takes a few twists and turns by using flashback scenes to explain the rather lame ending. It is not clear if some of the characters were supposed to provide comic relief based on their appearance.

Overall it does not have the high level tension you would expect in a supernatural thriller.

Wasted Attempt

The movie is just meh. There is a little builtup but it always ends up in a jumpscare which is not even needed. I don't know how people are saying this is good. It looks good but the acting, the dialogues and the execution all missed the mark by a long way. There is no emotion behind the deaths, I don't feel for either of the girls as it feels ruched and unemotional. Why do you people always cast forigners who can't even act. Major let down.

Keep Moving On

The storyline is passable - nothing novel about it but could have been a good watch if the movie was done properly. The execution was really bad as with the acting of some of the characters like Sandra, her daughter and the boyfriend ... vomit, vomit. The pretty faces was just that - pretty faces without any direction/contribution to the movie. The whole movie was like a bad cut & paste job with some bits not making sense. That is 2 hours of my time I am never getting back.

Real thriller after long time
