Christmas Cheese

Was this cheesy? Absolutely -- the mac and cheese they cooked up was nowhere near as cheesy as this show. However, that was clearly the intent -- there were obvious winks back to old Christmas variety show specials. Some of the guest stars were sorely underused in their appearances (Stevie Wonder) and we really didn't need Kim or her momager. The music -- especially the live music over the recorded music -- was entertaining.

I Have Reviewed OVER 500 "Christmas Films and Specials". Please BEWARE Of films and specials with just one review! For instance When "It's a POSITIVE" chances are that the reviewer was involved with the production. "If its Negative" then they may have a grudge against the film for whatever reason. I am fare about these films.

This is a throw back to the older Christmas Specials that were a staple of television during the Christmas Holiday Season. Today we are lucky to get them so seeing this was just harmless fun. The special has a fun atmosphere and I would of never guessed that I would like this but I did.

This special has jokes that work and don't work! However the singing is a standout from all performers and I hope NBC gives John Legend gives him an annual Christmas special!

What a disappointment!

John Legend is so talented, so I was really looking forward to this special. If it was supposed to be a throwback to old specials they should have let the audience in on the joke in advance, cause I didn't get it. Found it nauseating, especially when Kris Jenner appeared. They couldn't have come up with a better premise?! I don't even want to watch him on The Voice now! Awful!

Not a sooo Merry Christmas

The music is the saving Grace. The rest of the show feels like a bad 80's show, with bad plugs, and forced laughs.
