This documentary provides the basic information about our Messiah (all of which can be found in the gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke, etc), along with a vocal (mostly by Father Chris Ryan and Father Bart Hutcherson) historical setting of his time upon earth (e.g Roman rule, everyday life, Jewish customs, etc).
You also get to see the historical locations where Yeshua/Jesus lived his life, started his ministry, preached, was betrayed and sentenced to death, and resurrected, etc.
Even if you are a faithful Christian, or just starting out in the faith, I would reckon this documentary as it provides additional details of the time when Jesus was on the earth. You might learn a few things (I surely did).
Parent Guide -
Profanity: There's mild blasphemy... * The Lord's name in vain is said once or twice (it can be hard to hear because of the environment) * "Oh my go$h" is said ten times Other than that. There's no foul language.
Sexual content or Sexual references: None. Unless you count the mentioning of how the Romans would crucify their victims naked.
Drug use or Drug references: None.
Blood, Gore and Frightening scenes: None. However, there are many scenes where you see Jesus on the cross (mostly in paintings, jewellery and symbols, etc).
