A coming-of-age story for a middle-aged woman, set in a tone of dark comedy. Danish-American Nanna gets a call from her unknown half-brother Neal, in Iceland who tells her she ought to come to visit her father. Nanna, who hasn't seen her father for many years and never heard about this half-brother, flies to Iceland with her friend Irina as support. At Iceland, things turn out to be more twisted than they ever could imagine. Who is her dad? And who is Nanna herself, when nothing in her family is what she thought?
