One Down, One to Go
Anonnamus8 May 2020
Warning: Spoilers
After a moment of silence to celebrate Methhead leaving the picture, I have a little more faith that this season is going to get a whole lot better. At this point, I can't see how Elizabeth can ever be forgiven for every action she has taken, especially against Reddington. Now Don, Mister I Am Good and Everything is Black And White There is No Gray, has decided to aid and abet Elizabeth in everything she's doing. Her vendetta amounts to nothing but her whining, "you're keeping secrets from me that I have to know so I'm going to destroy your life because you won't tell me"!

My problem is this. Why does she assume it's the real Reddington that was a good man and Fake Red is the man who destroyed his reputation? If anything, I'm more inclined to believe the real Reddington was the one who committed treason and was a nefarious criminal until 4 year-old Liz shot him dead. Fake Red was there and took over the real Reddington's business after undergoing surgery that Katarina suggested. Either way, Red has done nothing but do everything in his power to protect Elizabeth, proven that he would die for her. Elizabeth's actions this season have been despicable and I can't possibly see how she can be redeemed for this. I could be wrong, but I truly don't think Red is solely a bad guy. I also still think that the real Reddington is Liz's father. Or maybe he's Methhead's father. Either way, I don't think they're sisters and I'm glad to see her go.

The story with the smugglers being pregnant with LSD was kind of original and I enjoyed it. I truly hope Dembe didn't kill Maguerite Renard, or that Red's order wasn't to dispose of her. That goes against what we have seen of the both of them thus far.

Let's wrap up this storyline of Liz trying to take down the man who saves her time after time. It's getting old and the writers have taken her character to a place I can't see her coming back from. I have no issues with the actress, but sometimes I do wonder if Elizabeth is supposed to go through life with a constant scowl on her face.

Who doesn't love James Spader?
LordofArt24 February 2019
Jennifer and Liz get in soup trying to kidnap the nurse who they think did the surgery for Red, and since they can't go to the Task Force, Liz goes to wake Red from his dream of "two mermaids, a sea cucumber and an octopus" at 3 A.M. Ressler hires a girlfriend from Alter Ego. Who doesn't love James Spader?

Oh just sod off Liz and Jen
drnikic1 June 2021
So very very over these two who are on an emotional seesaw together.

Also, why was Liz whispering in the van talking to Ressler? Was she worried the dead guy would eavesdrop?!

Too many plot holes and implausibility.

You can't overdose on LSD
garthio12 November 2019
Warning: Spoilers
You cannot overdose on LSD. That is to say there has never been a confirmed overdose of LSD. The only living thing to have some been confirmed to overdose from this drug was an elephant and it also received a heavy dose of tranquilizers! The girl may have died from the loss of blood or infection or other causes from the wound but certainly not the LSD.

She just doesn't function without his help
foamythefearsome29 November 2022
These past few episodes (or actually already since Tom Keen passed), the series dabbled in making Liz a sort of Red 2.0 where they have tried to portray her as a person of equal skill and cunning. Save for a few exceptions, though, it quickly turns out that she is not, because she is unable to think ahead, to imagine the consequences of her actions. Nor is she willing to live with these consequences, as shows from her apparent change of heart after putting Red in jail.

This episode perfectly points this out as her actions immediately put someone she cares about at risk. She tries to do things the Reddington way, and just cannot pull it off at the first try, resulting in attempts to rectify her mistake for which she has to get help.

Many people seem to hate her for it, but I actually think its well portrayed by the series - it adds to the appreciation of Reddington: who he is and what he's capable of, and to how unique his skillset is. Granted the back and forth in her personality and allegiance is getting a bit annoying, it does not really hurt the series yet.

More True to Form
Hitchcoc29 November 2022
Reddington is back, doing his thing. Thanks to Dembe and the channel he developed. He has become a leader in the prison community. After a man dies who trusted him, he gets revenge on his killer. Elizabeth comes and talks with him in her incredibly hypocritical way. The sister sums things up before she leaves. "What will you have when it's over?" She wants the truth. She also can't believe her mother could have been there. She drags Don into her sick efforts. Now she can destroy her life as well as others who cross her path. Ressler found a nice person to help sooth his stark existence. She has taken that away as well.

This should have ended Season 5
GoldenGooner0410 August 2022
Warning: Spoilers
And now were are on Season 9, and still don't have the answers.

All about the money, this series up to season 4 was Amazing, but now it's lost the plot.

They don't have a clue what to do with Liz, even thou she is dead, or is she?

Acting is average, And then we have Red, who is not Red, and in later seasons, we still don't know who the F Spader is?

But as i said, it makes money. And will go till it don't.

Wtf
Lythas_8524 February 2019
Warning: Spoilers
Dunno.. what Liz is becoming.. She told Ressler about the Reddington situation but only because she had no way out of that jam and needed his help to stash the body away.

She seemed not to care that Ressler's relationship ended due to her intrusion or that her half sister got beat up real good. What is she becoming? The plotline is full of holes and dunno, the show seems kinda lost after Tom died.

Hard to watch
gherahtraitte27 February 2019
It's getting really hard to watch. Bipolar Keen and her bipolar sister doing crazy stuff. Absolutely awful acting, plot holes and stupid storyline. Please just tell me that Reddington is Keen's mother and let's get over with it

What a mistake
s_iliya_p23 February 2019
Warning: Spoilers
Am I the only one noticing this? Jennifer knew the nurse was Sarkany's girlfriend while in his custody. How??? Elizabeth and Ressler found about the nurse's relationship with Sarkany, while searching for Jeniffer after she was taken. Why would Sarkany talks to Jennifer about his man but not the attempt for capturing his girlfriend? No reason. Then how Jennifer knew?? It might not be a big deal, but my expectations were much higher.

WTF is happening to this show?
docjoque25 April 2019
So I'm 10 minutes in and I'm already pulling my hair out and surfing the internet, shopping and writing reviews.....anything to keep from having to watch this maddening trash. What has happened to Liz? Every decision she makes is ridiculous. Would never happen, except in the imbecilic minds of the writers. Please bring back Tom (c'mon, if all the other writing can be this stupid and ridiculous, you can just bring back Tom in some REALLY stupid story arc and it will probably seem logical in comparison). While you're at it, can you please kill off Liz and her "sister". So tired of their stupid BS. So by the time I've written this review, the show has gotten even more ridiculous. My original 2 star rating is down to 1 star. I'd leave zero if I could.

Lost in the details
jeffowens-6375129 November 2023
I'm getting a little weary of the girls quest to find out answers. Sounds like their obsession with this has overtaken any chance of a normal life. Lots of holes in the logic but that's the way stories are written, they're superhuman at times and can't make rational decisions the next. Ready for something to get settled and get back to the business of catching bad guys. Also, how does reddington get all his information about crimes while in the joint? I guess it just travels through the air. I guess it's basically my fault for spending the time watching, I could just change the channel and solve the problem.

Warning: Spoilers
I watch this show for Spader. The acting, the dialogue are fabulous. Can't get over the fact that finding another daughter and eliminating a most beloved and wanted daughter are JUMPING THE SHARK!!! Come on people! I will never forgive killing off Tom. It has gotten ridiculous.
