The Visitor from the Future

Edit

Factual errors

Nuclear power plants don't blow up (they're built not to), and even when things go very wrong like in Chernobyl, it still doesn't look anything like a mushroom cloud.
The nuclear cloud doesn't make sense on many levels: it looks like a fantasy spell from Harry Potter or something, it instantly destroys anything it touches (that's not how radiation works), and last but not least, it goes around the world without ever stopping or getting smaller, whereas radiation goes down with time and would not be a problem for the population of 500 years later.
The very first shot shows a cooling tower on the verge of blowing up with weird lightning (supposed to be radioactivity). However, a cooling tower has nothing to do with an issue with a nuclear reactor at all; there are plenty of cooling towers used for other things (like coal or gas plants) and there are plenty of nuclear plants without cooling towers.
