Marty is held in the Navarro dungeon for several days and yet he never grows any beard stubble during his captivity. The movie makers probably decided it was easier to have him not grow a beard than to have continuity problems with different degrees of stubble whilst filming.
The "Buddy" mausoleum to which Wendy goes to collect cash for the "smurfs" is not the same burial ground as the funeral scene in "Outer Darkness" (#2.6). The mausoleum itself is the same in both scenes, as it is likely a constructed movable set.
