After Angie breaks the window at the cabin she reaches in with her right hand to unlock the door. But a few seconds later when the scene shifts to inside view Angie is reaching in with her left hand.
At the beginning Admiral Padgett fires at the burglar and misses and you can see the bullet hole in the porch column. When he goes back inside, the hole is gone.
It is only legal to fire on an intruder to protect yourself or property (and not in all states). When the admiral fires on the burglar from the door, that is clearly illegal and he would/should have been prosecuted.
There is no such crime as a "break-in robbery". The word is burglary.
Breaking in and stealing (regardless of intent or any other crime involved) is burglary.
Several times the crime in question is referred to as a robbery, and the original plot summary also used the term. In fact it was a burglary.
A robbery takes place when a person uses violence, or the threat of violence to commit theft. A burglary on the other hand is illegally entering a building to commit theft, assault, or criminal damage. The crime depicted was clearly a burglary.
Jimmy's e-mail to Sloane spells the victim's last name as "Storeville," but on the attached photo, it's spelled "Storvelle." Later, on McGee's computer it's again spelled "Storvelle." Of course, this can just be an in-show spelling error by Jimmy.
At the start of the episode McGee states that it is impossible to lick your own elbow. This is a widely believed but untrue "fact".
