I see a lot of parents whining about this being so inappropriate. It is just a Korean cartoon. Different cultures think differently about what constitutes humor. If it is so offensive to you don't allow your kids to watch it. It is great to have educational cartoons and there are many of them out there. For those hating on this cartoon calling netflix and raising hell...Please remove the stick out of your ass, seriously.

Where to start. Some of the ideas in this show are so off the wall I can't beleive a writer would think them up. I think that's some of the appeal of the show. The larva fart and burp their way through adventures with a stranded islander. I can't really stand this show, but my kids love it. I guess that's good enough for me to give it a decent rating.

I am fine with my kids watching silly shows; they dont all have to be educational. But man is this one dumb. All these characters do is strange yelling and farting sounds at each other in various locations and circumstances. My kid gets entranced in an almost hypnotic way that I believe may actually killing brain cells a dozen or so at a time. I don't forbid him watching this......thing...... they made but I usually cut him off after a few to put literally anything else on.

This show is absolutely hilarious and would never want it to go away. There are way to many people hating on this show. I get it if you dont want your child seeing this type of stuff. Its easy as getting up and switching the channel or putting something else on netflix. Me my dad and sister watch this show and it is like bonding. It really brings us closer together and i just want to thank tuba for making this show and I hope you guys grow your show and make many more seasons. Sorry that was kind of off topic but just understand that if you dont want your children or grandchildren to watch just take it off.

Yeah yeah i know some of the scenes may not be kid friendly but thats when you grown uos come in to guide your kids, dont be blaming it all on media!
Anyways, going back to Larva Island. The show is very colorful and everything seems to be big showing the pov of the main characters. It gives us another angle about how a simple living in a small island can be so diverse and full of surprises. Gives you a feel that physical spaces doesnt determine the boundaries of our imagination.
Oh another favorite of mine is how the show celebrates differences and Friendship. It feels good to have different opinions, languages, physical characteristics and yet be friends. how awesome is that?
So for the nay sayers, you just lack imagination so bugger off

I let my son watch a few episodes of this. At first, it seemed like your usual slapstick kid show. Not really my favorite show, but my kid enjoyed it so it was fun for him to watch occasionally.
One episode shows one character drinking something, and then the other one drinking from his butt. It has been a while since we watched the episode, so I don't remember the specifics. I think it was supposed to be diarrhea? Whatever it was, it was gross. That seems like content that should have a warning before the episode, at the very least.
That was the last time I let my kid watch it. This isn't for children.

The humour isn't PC these days. Mild violence in the form of the characters slapping each other (Laurel and Hardy used to do that and I loved them as a kid), lots of burping and farting... this was the norm for boys humour when I was young. This might not be for everyone but I love it and my 4 year old is addicted. There's another show called Larva which is based in a city but this series is the best. I hope there are more seasons to come.

So, of course kids like this show it's animated. But the butt jokes are really gross, in a creepy way. Borderline conditioning and that makes me nervous. I watched it with my 2 year old and I'm pretty liberal with TV but this has a perverse undertone.

This show has the most unlike able and annoying characters. The show constantly repeats the same sound effects every minute and the character designs are horrible and ugly. The show has almost no talking and is just like a horrible clone of Tom and Jerry a good show. My 6 year old hates the show let that sink in.

My six year old boy absolutely loves this! The animation is top notch, but I grant that the humour is largely slapstick and farting features significantly (often as a method of propulsion).
Episodes are very short, but some serialisation happens to fully explore a theme (e.g. Power Rangers).
There is a Street Fighter episode, Lord of the Rings and Terminator, to mention a few. This gives a lot of value to the adults watching :)

An extremely disturbing show

I've seen my younger siblings watching this show multiple times, I don't see how anyone could like it. The animation looks really effortless, or by something out of the early 2000's. It looks really gross. The worst aspect about this show is it's humor. Whenever i see this show it is always playing really mediocre slapstick jokes or fart jokes. I don't see how this could be appealing to anyone over the age of 6.
