- Anna, a devout man, aims to build a dam by mortgaging temple ornaments. Villagers oppose it. Ornaments get stolen, and Anna is jailed for it. He awaits release to attend a religious fair, while his wife resents God for framing him.
- Anna devotes most of his time towards God and considers it as a priority above anything.While his wife Akka has given up on him.Anna is also a respected person in village and wants the village to developed but few jealous people like Sada want to throw him out of village.During summer season the village lake dries up and Anna comes with a plan of building a dam by mortgaging ornaments of God from village temple.But villagers oppose this and ask Anna come with a different idea.The villagers keep a Tamasha performance for collection of funds during which the ornaments get stolen and Anna is jailed for the same as the cops recover ornaments from his house.Akka accuses God for framing a husband as he prayed day night for him.While Anna waits for the day to come out so that he can attend the religious fair Pandarichi Vaari.—alex.mjacko@gmail.com
