Plot Summary

A unique cinema tour de force from Cinema eVerite', "Flesh Is Heir To" is a unique psychological thriller delving into the feminine psyche and societal sexuality standards. The film is written and directed by critically acclaimed off-off Broadway writer/producer and filmmaker Dale A. Johnson (Trial by Fire, That is the Question, The Seven Deadly Sins). This erotic neo noir mystery centers around Cece Blair, a young theoretical physicist who starts having paranormal visions upon returning from her universe bending Collider Work in Switzerland. Benign at first, her visions take a dark twist when she witnesses a male patron in a restaurant suddenly become a violent imaginary murderer. She surreptitiously steals his business card and starts following him in the pursuit of further clues. Cece ultimately reports the man and her "murder vision" to the Captain at the local precinct, who laughs it off as a dream. But Charlie Black, a Native American female detective trainee who believes in spirits, visions and the supernatural, agrees to take on the case and together they pursue the truth. Are the visions the past, the future or an alternative universe? Are they real or a dream? When the Captain discovers a lead to an unknown serial killer, he suddenly disappears. Charlie and Cece are left to put the pieces of this deadly puzzle together before Cece unwittingly becomes the next victim.
