Trailer looked good and I enjoy shudder, so what could go wrong?
Where it lost me and couldn&#39;t get me back. The CGI &#39;Z&#39; jumping at the dad. Wow that was embarrassing. I thought, really? They should have just left the glowing eyes. House is completely engulfed in flames, in a nice neighborhood but no sirens. When Z got in bed with her, I was waiting for good night hunny. What was with the 2%? In the beginning the teacher said, Josh was one of her favorites but she was shooting him dirty looks the whole time.
The rest was just implausible things. If a child is on the railroad tracks, with a train speeding towards him, there would not be enough time to run upstairs and hang yourself. Cops showing up for a wellfare check with guns drawn, yet letting the doctor get in front. Does Josh ever get in trouble? Possibly killed a kid, drew (in what I&#39;m guessing is charcoal) on the wall... The WHOLE wall!!! He&#39;s suspended but goes to some game place as a reward. The only good parts were Z behind the doctor, the dead grandma and when the kid was thrown off the stairs. Just watch the trailer and save some time.

Whoever was in charge with sound did the worst job I&#39;ve ever heard. The voices were so quiet I had to turn the volume so high and when the music in the movie starts I have to turn it down again because my living room is shaking. Did the actors not have one of those big mics hanging above their heads ? I&#39;m only 15 min in so far and I had to get in on a review.

Story has been done before and better. There really isn&#39;t anything redeeming about this one. Awful characters, dialogue, and acting. A few cheap jump scares and absolutely zero internal logic.

Arent horror movies supposed to scare? Apparently the director of this movie doesnt think so. The film didnt scare me at all. Its totaly useless as a scary movie. The acting is blaha, blaha. It feels like the actors only took this job desperate to earn some extra money. The script is boring and doesnt build up a scary feeling. But the worst is that the &quot;monster&quot; in movie looks like a cute character from a Disney movie...
It made me laugh because it looked so silly. The movie is just stupid and pointless. If the movie had another director and story, it could perhaps have been something worthwile to see, but the director wasted all away. The only good bit about this movie is that is only steals 1 hour and 23 minutes of your life...

I&#39;m sick &amp; tired of these so called &quot;HORROR MOVIES&quot; that aren&#39;t by any stretch of the imagination scary or even close to a horror film. This has to be one of the worst movies of 2020 , save yourself the stress of watching this unbearably boring &amp; horrendous film.

This film start with a boy &quot;Joshua&quot; playing with the toys, and his mother &quot;Elizabeth&quot; calling him to eat scene! As turnout, this film is about a ghost &quot;Z&quot; obsess with Elizabeth, it using Joshua to get Elizabeth, and eventually Elizabeth eliminate Z by hanging herself! Entire film full of boring conversation, and annoying overuse scene! Such as, overuse of the jump scare scene, overuse of the dining scene, overuse of the light blinking scene, overuse of the blackout scene, and overuse of the staring at the light scene! Make the film unwatchable! Barely intense scene is, Elizabeth saving Joshua out of the burning house! At the end, Elizabeth hang herself to eliminate Z, but she survive! Joshua saying goodnight to Z at the very end! That&#39;s it! Wasting time to watch!

It feels like movie doesn&#39;t know how to play suspense:
1. Hint something in the first act.
2. Tease with it during the second act.
3. Have it happen o have it resolved in the third act.
The move makes things happen that are not hinted and hints things that do not happen. It&#39;s surprising, not in a good way.
Finally: turns could have been taken that would have made up for some decency but no. It&#39;s predictable, formulaic, borring, pretentious. 
Spoilers: 
The creature (there is a creature) is made in one scene from practical efects (not bad, actually) and in another scene from CGI - it looks like a Space Jam cut out in black and white, in a bad way, and this happens at the climax of the second act, when one of the central characters is getting killed.
Also, after the third act is done, there&#39;s an epilogue aiming to set up a sequel.

Half way in movie, 3 things have happened, so short had to rewind movie because i blinked. Its not good - never find out whats not good.
Common Z - girl is presented without context.
Noise in woods, never find out what
Inexplicable alive toys
Father found dead - really!
Inexplicable fire.
No explanation about return to grans house.
Why the heck do the police enter with guns drawn - Ridiculous
Dining table scene - Mom sitting there - no explanation 
Movie has very few special fx&#39;s
Relies on sound fx. Seriously NON MOVIE
but if you watch, DONT BLINK!
