Jaden Michael, Coco Jones, Gerald Jones, and Gregory Diaz IV in Vampires vs. the Bronx (2020)

Goofs

Vampires vs. the Bronx

Edit

Continuity

At about 33:20, as the three heroes approach the court house and the moving truck exits left, Lil Mayor has a basketball. It's disappeared in the next scene as the boys jump the chain link fence.

Factual errors

At one point, a balloon full of holy water is boiling to the point that it bursts all over Miguel's hands. However, Miguel does not react as if he just had boiling water spilled all over his hands.

Revealing mistakes

A vampire steps next to a small container of holy water and kicks it away. This holy water does not boil as is shown with every other container of holy water near a vampire in the rest of the movie.
One of the shots of Slim running after Miguel has been flipped, as noted by the reversed "38" on the shirt that he's wearing.

Miscellaneous

The DJ at the street festival at the film's end uses a form of the "N" word in telling the MC to begin his rap.

Audio/visual unsynchronised

In the block party scene at the end of the film, the MC implores the crowd to clap their hands however the rap as well as the clapping is out of synch with the music.

Character error

They say that holy water boils when near a vampire, and holy water is seen bubbling while in the vicinity of vampires. This sometimes happens in sealed containers in the movie, but water can not normally boil in a sealed container because the water pressure can not get much higher than the air pressure. The water may be bubbling because of some mystical energy and not actually boiling, but the characters call it boiling because that's what it appears to be doing.
