Snappy entertainment

The guys certainly don't overstay their welcome in any single location, with the result that if feels a bit rushed. But I love the concept. Of course Monkman overshadows Seagull, and not just literally. Bobby simply can't match him. Nevertheless I did enjoy the show a lot.

Very good

Actually good stuff. This series sets itself apart from the rest of the fluff out there because the hosts, smart people themselves and seemingly nice folks to be around, are also genuinely interested in teaching the rest of us out there.

Loved it

Engaging and charming. It's nice to watch intelligent people on tv finding wonder in science and road trips.

A lot better than 99% of the tv on at the moment.

Well done. There better be another series!

I found this very watchable, interesting and informative. A road trip with a difference. I really hope the BBC will give the lads another series.

Big Bang Theory meets Carpool Karaoke (with Little Britain narration) in a head on collision

A valiant attempt, but it doesn't quite come together.

Perhaps if they'd spent more time choosing the locations to visit and had dropped the Little Britain (Tom Baker) style narration by Simon Callow, it might just have worked. (At least they didn't show them in bed together in homage to Eric Morecambe and Ernie Wise.) But I didn't warm to Eric Monkman and found the whole thing more irritating than entertaining.

Loved them both on University Challenge, but this was a step too far. (Gave up on this at 28.2% into the second episode.)
