Power Rangers Ninja Steel (2017)

Power Rangers Ninja Steel

Edit

Continuity

Typeface calls up six Basherbots to pound the Rangers, but at times during the fight there appear to be more.
While engaged in a furious fight against Typeface, the call for help from Red Ranger Brody seems quite a bit tame, not at all as if he's fighting for his life.

Factual errors

The training that Brody gives Emma is first called karate (which means "open hand"), but at training they wield bokkens (wooden swords), which would be appropriate for either aikido, kendo, iaido, kenjutsu or jodo. In the end, their activity is generically called "ninja training" (which should be something deadly or stealthy since ninjas are professional assassins).

Revealing mistakes

One of the screens in the Rangers' base uses the pictures of the Bandai America's version of the Ninja Blaster, which is noticeably different than the prop version used in the show.

Miscellaneous

The White Ranger whisks Emma to safety but then appears right back with her fellow Rangers for a group attack against Badonna. Taking Emma to safety during an energy blast fight should take longer than a second or less, but doesn't.
An exterior shot of the high school makes the announcement of the computer virus infection seem to be over the school's P.A. system for all to hear. It's a misimpression. The announcement plays only on Mick's computer within the Power Ranger secret base. The exterior shot should have been shown with just birds chirping to contrast with the emergency within the secret base inside.
As payment for free martial art lessons, Brody has Emma fix his phone. Brody then pays for the phone fix by giving Emma more free lessons. Taken at face value, this is a strange exchange rate.

Plot holes

With Power Ranger technology down, Preston's magic shouldn't be affected, yet no one thinks to use it (even at the cost of their lives).

Character error

Sarah claims to not be good with programming or computer viruses, even though she used a computer virus to get rid of her clones in Hack Attack (2017).
