‘The Real Ghost Hunters’Review by Peter BelsitoThis is an indie Us film, a quiet comedy, about group of suburbanites on a farcical chase to track down ghosts in a maybe haunted house. Led by the irrepressible Danny who will never accept any rejection of his wild ideas neither by the obvious truth or financial ruin.
Danny is trying to revive his idea of his formerly successful ghost hunters weekly TV show and in this story is investing all he has — his suspicious wife’s savings and his family and friends’ confidence and technical skills — to film an elusive ghost’s presence in local house.
He has a sleazy partner who turns out to be a complete scammer but despite all obstacles Danny carries on in his quest to make a real TV show.
In spite of all seemingly impossible obstacles the crew actually finds and records a ghostly presence in their TV show.
