  Oliver Queen : I kind of like you guys. Don't tell anyone.

  Mar Novu : Mm. And now you're here in the faint hope I can alter it.

  Green Arrow : Well, you just said you were a god. Now, I don't think you're testing to see if we're strong enough. I think you're testing us to see if we're good enough. And I don't think, in any of the universes you've tested, that anyone has ever stood and confronted you like this.

  Green Arrow : I'm not who you need! You said I'd pass the test if I knew my true self. My true self is filled with darkness. But Barry and Kara are different. They inspire hope. They inspire people because they are the best of us. And if this test of yours is gonna kill our best chance at stopping this crisis, well, as gods go, you're not a very smart one.

  Mar Novu : The universe is a very complex piece of machinery, and balance must be maintained. One change requires another. How would you propose I keep the balance?

  Oliver Queen : Okay, that's enough.

  Barry Allen : [they find themselves back in the apartment building hallway]  That was very glass-half-empty.

• Elseworlds Superman : There's no place you can run that I can't find you.

  Oliver Queen : [quietly]  What?

  Elseworlds Superman : It's over.

  Oliver Queen : What are you talking about?

  Barry Allen : Clark, it's us. Barry and Oliver.

  Elseworlds Superman : Oh, I know who you are. Your confusion lies with me.

  Oliver Queen : [realizing]  Deegan. The Monitor gave you the book back?

  Elseworlds Superman : And showed me how to *really* use it.

• Elseworlds Superman : Idiots. I'm bulletproof.

  Oliver Queen : I know.

  [he shoots at a nearby crane; it teeters, ready to fall] 

  Barry Allen : You want to be Earth's hero? Save the children or stop us.

  Oliver Queen : Your choice, "Superman".

• Barry Allen : Being bad makes me feel bad, man.

  Oliver Queen : The crane gag was harmless. It would have landed in an empty parking lot.

  Barry Allen : Still, man. I don't know. Just doing something like that on purpose, I think I'm gonna puke. I'm...

  [they duck behind a car as they hear police sirens, and Barry gags] 

  Barry Allen : No, I'm okay. I'm okay.

  Oliver Queen : We need to find out how extensive this reality change is, and we need to get off the streets. Come on.

  Barry Allen : [trying to barf]  I can't get anything coming up. I can't...

  [following Oliver as he jogs away] 

  Barry Allen : Wait up. I have a plan.

• Barry Allen : Look, we don't want any trouble.

  Oliver Queen : We just have a business proposal for Mr. Ramon.

  Cisco Ramon : A business proposal. I'm gonna pass. You see, I like watching my people put a beating on other people, so...

  James Olsen : So I guess we got that in common.

  Barry Allen : We've got this, right?

  Oliver Queen : Totally.

  [they get thrown across a bar table] 

  Bartender : Oh! Is now an okay time to ask for a selfie?

• Oliver Queen : We need to find Cisco.

  Barry Allen : Okay, well if us good guys are bad guys, stands to reason that our good guy friend is now a bad guy.

  Oliver Queen : Sure. You're CCPD. Where do criminals hang out in this city?

• Barry Allen : [seeing bar patrons cower from them]  Are they all afraid of us?

  Oliver Queen : Go with it.

  Barry Allen : This is a terrible idea.

  Oliver Queen : You keep saying that.

  Barry Allen : And yet here we are anyway.

• Bartender : Oh, my god. The Trigger Twins. Sorry, I'm just a huge fan of your criminal history.

  Barry Allen : Oh.

  Bartender : You guys are my heroes. Well, not "heroes". Legends. Can I get you guys something?

  Barry Allen : Apparently, we need allies and resources.

  Oliver Queen : We're looking for Cisco Ramon.

  Bartender : You mean the boss?

  Oliver Queen : Sure.

• Cisco Ramon : Stop, stop. Stop! Jimmy, what are you thinking? What, are you gonna kill 'em here, now? Gary's still cleaning up from the last mess you made, Clockwork Orange. Do 'em out in the alley.

  James Olsen : All right, come on, let's go.

  Barry Allen : Wait. Wait, wait, wait. I knew your brother Dante.

  Cisco Ramon : Stop. Hold up. How'd you know Dante?

  Barry Allen : It's a long story. If he were here, he'd tell you to listen to our proposal.

  [quietly to Oliver] 

  Barry Allen : What's our proposal?

  Oliver Queen : How'd you like to get rid of Superman?

• Cisco Ramon : All right, I've got ledgers to keep and miles to go before I sleep, so talk fast.

  Oliver Queen : Right. F-First, we need to know if you can vibe.

  Cisco Ramon : [knocking items off his desk]  Can I vibe?

  Barry Allen : Teleport, open a breach. You can still do that, right?

  Cisco Ramon : Rhetorical question. How do you think I got into all those bank vaults? But you, you didn't know that. You came in here not knowing if I could do what you thought I could do. That's very risky.

  Barry Allen : We're kind of desperate.

  Cisco Ramon : Please keep giving me more reasons to not do business with you.

• Oliver Queen : All right, listen, you could use your powers for so much more than breaking into bank vaults.

  Cisco Ramon : Go back to the part about taking down Superdick. That's the part I wanna hear.

  Oliver Queen : We're gonna get to that.

  Barry Allen : For now, I could teach you how to use your powers to get to a whole different Earth.

  Cisco Ramon : A whole different Earth. Tell me more.

• Barry Allen : [arriving in the Fortress of Solitude]  Oh, thank god we're here.

  Oliver Queen : Yeah. Only took seventeen tries.

• Oliver Queen : Novu! I know you're in there, you son of a bitch! I'm not afraid of you. I'm not impressed by you! Stop with these games and show yourself!

  Mar Novu : [Oliver forces his way into his dimension]  So much passion. And hubris. To think, that if you just yell loud enough you can command a god.

  Oliver Queen : You're not a god.

  Mar Novu : Yet there isn't a name for what I am, so I suppose "god" will have to do.

• Oliver Queen : It's nice to be able to feel the effect of alcohol again.

  Barry Allen : Yeah, superspeed has its plusses and its minuses.

  Oliver Queen : Always hungry. I was burning holes in my shoes.

  Barry Allen : You're not gonna miss anything about it?

  Oliver Queen : There were a few times where I was running so fast, it was like things were standing still. Everything just looked really clear to me. I... I'm gonna miss that.

  Barry Allen : Flashtime.

  Oliver Queen : What?

  Barry Allen : That's just what I call it.

  Oliver Queen : Do you really have a name for everything?

• Oliver Queen : I thought you were done with us.

  Batwoman : Wishful thinking. I just came from Arkham. Tell me this deranged doctor of yours isn't gonna be a bigger problem.

  Oliver Queen : Deegan? Why?

  Batwoman : Because I hear he's made a friend.

• Superman : Barry and Kara. You had more faith than I did.

  Green Arrow : Well, I don't know Kara as well as I know Barry, but when things get tough, he doesn't slow down. He digs deeper and runs faster.

  Superman : That's my cousin to a T.

• Barry Allen : So, I feel like I should be thanking you for something. The Monitor. You talked to him, didn't you?

  [Oliver nods] 

  Barry Allen : You got him to change our destinies somehow.

  Oliver Queen : You and Kara changed your destinies, Barry, by being the heroes that you always have been.

  [Barry takes a sip from his beer] 

  Oliver Queen : Hey, I've been you. I lived it, I felt it. You're a good man.

  Barry Allen : So are you. Even if you don't want people to believe it.

  Oliver Queen : I'm not as good as you think I am. But because of you, I think I'll get there someday.

  Barry Allen : Should we hug it out?

  Oliver Queen : No! No. And I really mean it this time. Twice you've made me hug you. No.

• Mar Novu : Gentlemen. It's time we talked about your destiny. Must confess my interest is piqued. You possess neither power nor abilites, yet still manged to outwit an opponent with the powers of a super man.

  Barry Allen : It's just one word. "Superman."

  Oliver Queen : What is this, hmm? If you're testing us, then let us get back to it.

  Mar Novu : Oliver Queen, a man who channels his hubris and anger and calls it strength. Are you truly that eager to die? No. Not eager. But willing. Ready to. Good. There might be hope for this universe yet.

  Barry Allen : If that's supposed to be a pep talk, I've had better.

• Barry Allen : You can't just write yourelf as a hero. It... it doesn't work that way.

  Elseworlds Superman : Doesn't it, though? You were struck by lightning, I was given the book by a higher power. Both random acts of chance. But this... this is my destiny, so much more than becoming the Flash was ever yours.

  Barry Allen : People don't become heroes because of circumstance. They become heroes in spite of circumstance.

  Oliver Queen : You're just a cheap knockoff.

  Elseworlds Superman : Oh, I'm anything but cheap.

  [he fires his heat vision at them] 

  Elseworlds Superman : And just wait until you see what other fun changes I've made. To your family, your friends. There is no safe harbor for you. This is no longer your world. It's MINE!

• Barry Allen : Okay, we get Cisco, breach to Earth-38, find real Superman.

  Oliver Queen : That's the plan.

  Barry Allen : As long as this Cisco's willing to help us. The last alternate version of Cisco I met was not super helpful. Who knows how he's been re-written this time?

• Superman : Still Barry?

  Oliver Queen : Oh, no, we...

  Barry Allen : No, yeah...

  Oliver Queen : Yeah.

  Superman : Oh, so it's fixed. That's great.

  Oliver Queen : Well...

  Superman : [noticing Cisco]  Oh, no. Kara?

  Cisco Ramon : Mr. Ramon. Am I supposed to believe this guy's Superman? What'd, you get him off the street? You don't even look like him.

• Barry Allen : He's changed all of Central City. Maybe even the whole world. Everybody thinks he's you and we're bad.

  Cisco Ramon : I mean, I am bad.

  Oliver Queen : Hey, bottom line? Kara's nowhere to be found.

  Barry Allen : If we get the book back, we should be able to re-write reality again.

  Cisco Ramon : Yeah? And how are you gonna do that? You got a magic pen lying around somewhere behind these ice walls?

  Superman : No, it's not a pen. It's just the mind. I've encountered books like this before. The author writes things into existence through sheer force of will. But changing the story comes at a cost.

• Lois Lane : Do you have any idea where the book is?

  Barry Allen : If I were him, I'd keep it somewhere secure enough to also hold a Kryptonian.

  Oliver Queen : Easy. S.T.A.R. Labs. That place is under lock and key. I did time there once.

  Oliver Queen : Hey, so do we.

  Barry Allen : We... we did.

  Cisco Ramon : What'd you do? Did I say you could touch me?

  [to Barry] 

  Cisco Ramon : Did I say he could touch me?

  Barry Allen : I don't know.

  Cisco Ramon : I missed that part.

  Superman : [simultaneously with Lois]  I have to go.

  Lois Lane : You have to go.

• Elseworlds Superman : [with Barry in a headlock]  Make him close it or I snap his neck!

  Oliver Queen : No!

  Elseworlds Superman : Then your friend dies.

  Oliver Queen : [drawing a kryptonite arrow]  Not if I kill you first.

  Barry Allen : Oliver, don't! Not to save me. Okay, you don't have to do this. You don't have to channel your darkness. You can overcome it. You can be different. You can be better. Maybe that's it. Maybe that's the Monitor's test.

• Supergirl : What's happening?

  Oliver Queen : Deegan must be rewriting reality again.

  Superman : Or destroying it.

  Barry Allen : There might be a way to slow him down. We literally slow down time.

  [seeing Oliver's look] 

  Barry Allen : Come on, that's got to be, like, only the fourth most crazy thing you've heard in the past three hours.

• Supergirl : How do we slow down time, Barry?

  Barry Allen : If Supergirl and I travel around the globe in opposite directions at just over mach seven, we should be able to create enough centrifugal force to slow the Earth's rotation.

  Supergirl : And everything else.

  Oliver Queen : Rip the book out of Deegan's hands, and everything goes back to normal.

  Supergirl : We can do this.

  Superman : [they turn to leave]  You both die.

  [they turn back] 

  Superman : When I opened the book, I... I watched both of you die, doing exactly what you're talking about. If it's in the book...

  Oliver Queen : It's destiny. I believe Clark.

  Supergirl : We have to try something.

  [to Barry] 

  Supergirl : You ready?

  Barry Allen : Yeah.

  Superman : [they speed away]  Kara!

• Superman : Where are you going?

  Oliver Queen : I have an idea. Just... get the book.

  Superman : And Barry and Kara?

  Oliver Queen : We need to hope destinies can be re-written.

• Oliver Queen : We need to talk.

  Cisco Ramon : Make an appointment with my assistant. Should have an opening around, uh, "go screw yourself."

• Oliver Queen : I propose a toast. To appreciating what we have. However long we may have it.
