While Francisco discusses with Oswaldo all the strange things that have been happening in Paraíso, Pilar teaches Socorro about Anatomy, telling her mother that, ordinarily, some corpses become study pieces for medical students. At the same time, Rogério and Orlando talk about the pleasures of life and Agenor is reprimanded by his parents for despising them. In Carmen's apartment, Lais and Mário are once again discussing the dependence the latter two have on the lady of the house. Things get to the point that Lais finds herself throwing her mother-in-law off the top of that building, putting an end to her worries.
