The story line was mediocre at best. The voice dubbing was horrible. The English voices they used for the singing did not harmonize. There is no way you can believe they're in a talent show much less that a talent scout might show interest.
This is my first time actually writing a review.
But anyhow, I actually REALLY enjoyed this show a lot.
However, I wanted to get into this show much before but I couldn't stand the dubbing, instead I really was wondering if there was a German version with English sub (Which I unfortunately did not find).
I really like magic shows like these but the voices just seemed eh, it doesn't even look like they even trying to hide the failed mouth syncs.
But I think once you kind of learn to ignore the mouth sync it was good.
When I first got into it I had the "Ill just listen and not look." But that was not what it turned out to be, luckily I was able to ignore that bad aspect and just enjoy the show.
I would have probably rated this a 9 tho if it wasn't for the awfully bad dubbing.

I've read the books both in English and German in my childhood and if this is supposed to be an adaptation, it fails miserably. Story aside, the wonderful thing about children's books is, that they describe their characters visually and character wise in great detail. If you're just going to cast all of that aside and do whatever you want with the casting and production design, you may as well just make a whole other movie. My little sister loved the books and was so disappointed when she didn't even recognize her favorite character Flora. As well as that, we didn't know who Glenda was supposed to be, as she's just a whole different person here. This story is so magical and unique and I was extremely sad to see it turned into something ordinary like this.
The voice overs are HORRID!!!! Absolutely horrid. The voices don't even match the characters. This must have been ultra low budget because they pretty much only change outfits 2-3 times. My children are torturing me with this movie. It's a cute concept but yikes. Do not recommend.
Although the concept of this film is catchy the dubbing of their voices are not. Terrible job done on the voices dubbing. Wish the movements of their mouths matched the dubbing of their VOICES. Very Annoying.
