More of the same.

Kenzo continues to search for his brother, but his enquiries land him a snack across the face from Abbott, a gangster. Kenzo has two somewhat dysfunctional people for support, Rodney and Sarah.

Rodney is such an incredibly unusual and odd sidekick for Kenzo, a charismatic rent boy, who is going to land the pair in trouble.

Sarah is very much the outsider, having ratted on a colleague, she is also placed in danger.

It's perhaps not as sharp as the first part, but it is.atill excellent drama, it moves along nicely, it's so rich on content, the acting is flawless, Sharpe is particularly good as Rodney.

I'm Hooked, 8/10.

What some dramas might take a hour or two to achieve. The second episode of Giri/Haji did it in the opening 5 or so minutes. It gave you enough exposition as to what Yuto, Kenzo's brother has been up to in London since he faked his death.

Yuto has teamed up with a London gangster called Abbott. This meant sending Abbott's American business partner out in the cold.

Kenzo's task is made harder has he has been threatened by one of Abbott's enforcers and the gang war in Tokyo is escalating.

DC Sarah Weitzmann is also on to Yuto. She is a cop out of the loop as she grassed on a fellow officer. She knows that Kenzo is on a mission and learns more about it.

Giri/Haji might be fast moving yet it has small character moments like the complex relationship between Kenzo's superior unhappy with one of the Yakuza crime bosses close relationship with his wife.
