A unique theatrical greek drama

Excellent direction (excellent!), every plan was a surprise. It's obvious that the director has a deep understanding of the greek drama. The storytelling climax was also excellent. Haven't seen anything else like this film. Loved the whole adaptation, it's genius. The dialogues and everything are as if it was a theatrical play and yet it's not. It's a modern ancient greek drama made for cinema.

Everything had a symbolic interpretation, as someone would expect in a a mythology adaptation.

Music was also out of this world, and it really did play a role in the storytelling and in the film's climax, best fit for a film like this.

Poetic, beautiful and masterful

This incredible drama by a great director is very much one of the better ones of the year, and truly a great testament of the director's abilities.

The script is brilliant, featuring some stellar actors, and a very unconventional, subtle tone. All around, very cleverly put together.

The cinematography, cutting and editing is incredible as well, very unique, small scale, and all around very beautifully put together.

The film features some incredible music, that adds a lot to the narrative.

Overall, truly an incredible and masterful piece, that I would definitely recommend for any lover of film!
