Least funny episode - I couldn't find the plot behind the racist jokes
I'm a big fan of Family Guy and have really enjoyed the seemingly fresh approach so far this season. The first few episodes with the Brian-marriage-plot were excellent, but in this episode the only actual mildly funny moment in the show was at the beginning when the principal at Chris's school broke the fourth walll to say there would be Italian jokes later. There was a brief scene to set a sub plot with Stewie and Meg with a non-funny singing grape choking Stewie (the baby eating uncut grapes gag wasn't that funny the first time they used it in a previous show) then the entire episode seemed to be an endless stream of racist jokes that were only funny in the heads of the writers. They just went on-andon broken only by a short scene with Mort whose entire character is a racist joke. I watched the show waiting for something actually funny to happen and for the racism to end. It didn't happen. If you watch this episode with the premise that Italian jokes aren't funny (which they are not) then there is nothing left. These jokes belong in the 1970s. I am not Italian, and no Italians were hurt when writing thIs review....... or were they?. (In voice of Peter) "See Seth Myers, that's how to do an Italian joke that's not racist"
