TV Heist is not the strongest offering from The Cool Kids. It has moments, but the heart of the story gets lost and the over-the-top behavior is more disturbing than actually funny. The scene is set when Hank receives some upsetting news from his son and then loses out on a new television to Gorgeous George. What follows is a combination of the other Cool Kids trying to assuage Hank's hurt ego with an ill-planned theft. Unfortunately, it really doesn't work. The best bits are from Sid as he repeatedly insists, against all evidence to the contrary, that he is the sensitive go-to-guy with whom people share their feelings, but its not enough to salvage the espisode. The cast is capable of so much more.
