The happy face on master chief's hand changes position and orientation between when Soren's son gives it to him and when he looks at it in his cell.
When Master Chief and Kwan arrive at The Rubble, Master Chief presses a button to open the seemingly automated door. You can see a pair of feet under the door shuffling as someone pulls open the "automated" door.
