Why the low rating?

This show has a unique sense of humor and wicked promise. This just goes to show the great variety on Adult Swim as a whole. Can't understand why it would be rated so low, but then again Tim and Eric's "Beef House" (in the same half hour time slot on Sunday nights) has a similar rating. Maybe people just don't get it but if you don't dig on these, maybe Adult Swim isn't your kind of party.

Pleasant surprise

Adult Swim's live action shows have a record of being very hit-or-miss. Luckily this show is just silly enough to give me a good laugh at least once an episode, without me being too embarrassed to admit I'm watching it. And all the Debras are fantastic!

This has some promise

Maybe tone it down on the lol random humor. You can tell the 3 main leads are funny but you don't really get to see it with all the gags constantly happening.

The debra actors are absolutely hilarious, so I have a strong feeling the show will catch up to the quality of their other work. I think it would be a lot funnier if they leaned more into the dark humor and not the random stuff!

Busy watching Three Busy Debras

This show is funny. The three Debras are great at playing off of each other, I love that they always put in little jabs at one another whenever they get the chance. It builds character without ever taking a break from the humor, so you get to know a little about what the Debras are. The world they inhabit is just as wacked out as they are, giving the whole setting an anything goes vibe. Sometimes the jokes that are made seem a little obvious, but that's the worst I can say for this show.

Not gonna lie I was skeptical of watching just judging the commercials but I was kinda surprised I liked it. Its just like the other live as shows because of its randomness and weird plots. Overall fun show.

Subjective but I just did not find any of it funny. It just feels forced. Sleepover episode had a decent premise but it never even got a smirk out of me.

Surreal satire

Three Busy Debras makes fun of those "Stepford Wives"-y type film settings. Everything is cartoonish and absurd, but I didn't find it "random" like a lot of people say. It is a bit of pointed satire. I'd wager whatever shows most people are watching are also stupid and random time wasters like Family Guy or Robot Chicken.

Decent start

I haven't seen the original live show but this is pretty decent. It feels like a well done Youtube video though. I enjoyed this but I can't see it holding up over an entire season.

Absolute garbage. I have an offbeat sense of humour and like the bizarre. I usually can find a little bit of good in just about everything. BUT this!!!...it is so bad I had to stop watching after 10 minutes and I cannot remember ever shutting down before an ending. I usually give everything a fair try.

3 Annoying Debras

10 mins of the most annoying, cringe-worthy garbage I could ever wish for. And no, this is not based solely from a male perspective. I love funny women in TV & Film. This writing simply sucks. You couldn't pay me to watch this. Seriously.

The only spoiler I can post here is that these people have a refreshing sense of comedy. Not bad. Not bad at all. These three have some talent! Well produced.

Lemoncurd Legends

Honig, Stonoha & Jouhari's daft Debras is a massively strong concept - sharply stabbing at vain domesticity, societal norms and feminine tropes through the cunning guise of extreme foolishness. It flew so far under the radar I'm amazed it even got a second series, or that I even saw it in the first place, but I'll be forever glad that I did. Honig is particularly good at a form of bent-leg hunched gurning behaviour that I find extremely favourable. I hope that one day this steaming slice of bizarre honking and strange thrashing about gains the strong cult status that it truly deserves. Lemoncurd may be gone, but from the smoking ruins three iconic silhouettes emerge...

Potent satire - incapacitated!

Some of The Three Debras' creative and inspirational, yet sinister and challenging stage-improv is absolutely fabulous. Imagine my dismay, then, to be confronted with this sterilised, insipid and asinine blancmange.

No doubt it was network neutered, but sans spice, it is simply bland, humourless gruel delivered by charming clones with rictus smiles.

Engrossing and delicious comedy

I'll admit I wasn't immediately sold on the show. Interested? Very. The commercials can never do this show justice- once this humor is put in the context of the incongruous Lemoncurd, everything falls into place. Each Debra brings their own weird flair to the situation and they'll always keep you guessing. The bright coloring and music adds to the absurdity and often dark humor and it works so well. It's clear that the Debra's have been working on this show for a while and it pays off- since it's such a short show, no time is wasted and I really appreciate that.

Of course, not everything works in this show. There can be dull moments, or to me, really messy episodes that don't work for me overall. However, there's enough humor and ridiculousness to keep me entertained. I highly recommend giving this show a chance, it's one of the best new shows on Adult Swim. It's really silly fun and I promise if you don't take it that seriously, you can get in on the fun too.

Decent show

Decent show decent jokes, exactly what i expect from adult swim. As male the show is very understandable and still funny to watch sometimes, however jokes can be forced sometimes. Most of the low reviews are Im sure from men who don't take women seriously, and lets this show be another reason to fuel their hate.

I have watched the ENTIRE first season and I'm caught up on the latest episode as of now... but I'm still not sure if I truly like this or not. I will admit, it's different. Give it a shot, I guess. They're just three busy Debras doing Debra things, kinda reminds me of Tim And Eric or The Heart She Holler.

What in the what is this??? Perhaps one of the worst things I have ever seen in my entire life. I love comedy, I love offbeat comedy, I love dark comedy, I like all comedy, I do not like stupid. This is the dumbest, stupidest, thing that has ever been produced. What a waste of time and energy and money. Why did HBO ever pick it up? Whomever made this movie, please don't ever again, find another career. It was torture just to get through the first episode. Torture I tell you. If you haven't seen it yet, run for the hills first!

Stupid

I love silly, different comedy, but this show is just stupid. I tried to watch it, I even gave it 3 episodes to get better. I was thinking maybe I wasn't getting the humor but there just wasn't any humor to get. It's not stupid funny it's just stupid. I don't normally give reviews unless I really enjoy a show, but this show is so bad I don't want anyone else to waste their time while on this earth watching one of the dumbest shows to ever be created. Sorry actors and crew. Hopefully you will find something better soon. Truthfully anything will be better than TBD.

Entertain and fun

I always look forward to new adult swim shows and I enjoyed the debras. Their upbeat attitudes and what looks like a strange society makes me want more of the debras.
