A definitely enjoyed the series Reflections. For me it started off slow in EP1/EP2 but then picked up the pace for Ep3/Ep6 and especially in EP5 and EP6. The pace of the series was great. If they had a bigger budget this could easily be A+ production.

I wish they took the time for better set design. Like in the lab scenes they could have made it more dark and mysterious. It's just an OK series. I did not hate it and it passed the time well. I would say just an average watch. It had cool fighting scenes in it though.

Reflections Project Chameleon is an edge of your seat original TV Series that just aired on Amazon Prime. It captures the majesty of Russsia shown in the characters. Although, this TV series is classified as sci-fi thriller I think it is better defined as an action flick more so than as a sci-fi thriller. Do not be concerned however,. There is plenty of intrigue to be had in this TV series. The interplay between Tommy Fury, and Rahim Long , in the flashbacks are alone the worth the price of your time to watch. However, the true star of this understated romance is Mario Carneiro, who plays the Duncan Reinstein who leads the Russian Federation Army for Russia in the USA. Duncan's character is portrayed in a such gentlemanly fashion as to make the audience believe that he can be a nice guy but loves to delegate and make people pay. From the outstanding plot and writing comes the music. This is perhaps the best and most haunting soundtrack of any TV series, Reflections is a truly edge of your seat action filled flick.

There are many words to describe Reflections TV series --- from Confusing and Bold are two of them.
There are too many things going on, some say, maybe a little too much, but a lot of times you can't feel but still appreciate what you saw in every scene. The use of two actor's for Andy's was a bit hard to follow but it was explained in Ep1.
The film centers around a lot of issues, most importantly the use for experiments for the Russian Federation Army. Each scene comes by and by, and more and more we are launched into how and why Andy's world is flipped upside down and why he is important to the russians.
It fits together with all types of lines and meanings, together with Dark Humor. This film has suspense, drama, humor, sex but to some people, it might be offensive. It's humor is a sort of satire, and it it sort of making fun of itself, and trust me, this is a good thing. It doesn't take itself seriously, and this film works greatly because of that. The various actors, Mario Carneiro, Rahim Long, Tommy Fury, and Jonathan Neves and all the other actors do a great job. All the one-liners, and all the little homages to pop culture are fun to watch, but a lot of times, they do serve a bigger meaning.
See this film for yourself. My review won't really matter. Chances are, you will either despise this film, or absolutely love it! For those of you who didn't like it. I understand why. You might think it was stupid, confusing, and served no bigger 'meaning'. But to those of us who really cared, we know the bigger picture, and ultimately, this film tells a great story. But to those haters, it still had spark and ambition, and in a world of Hollywood, where horrible comedies and horrible repetitive, clichéd movies live, it tried to be different, so at least give it that credit. But it is one of the most original tv films ever made. One of a kind!

Gritty, raw, disturbing, and powerful. Just a few words that describe this TV show Reflections. It chronicles the deceit and faithfulness for mother Russia that Duncan Reinstein brings to the show . It contains one of the best performances ever captured for an Independent production. You'll never the scenes in this show.
It's a shame..there was only six episodes

I loved this series!! I wish the writers gavee us more than six episodes. This is a tale about revenege and tricky dealings with the russians. My favorite scene was when the agent got his finger chopped off. The effects outstanding and the story even better.

The writing in this series is top-notch. I loved the humor between the feud with the detective's and Andy. Especially when he says, "It's not assault when a sandwich is involved," and = , "it will be a dam shame if I threw you down the stairs and say you tripped." Amazing film series with non-stop action, climax, and a full hat tricks of one-liners you will be begging for more.

I love the post-Soviet era, so the old balance of power is not quite the same. But, in many ways, it has not changed at all, and the Russians are still key adversaries. What makes this film stand out, aside from its superb effects, humor and script, is the contrast between Vladimir and Andy.

This TV series on Amazon Prime is composed of an interesting mix of action and over-the-top absurdity but in a good way, well sometimes. At times the dialogue delivers perfect emotions, and others it misses its mark with not enough selling the lines. However all in all - good effort.
Duncan has control of his comrades which all have pretty good chemistry while the bullets fly and danger lurks around the corners such as the mercenaries taking care of his dirty work.. Mario Carneiro should definitely consider playing a villain more often; his performance as leading bad guy with the amazing power he exhibits effortless and makes people quiver and fear him with no weapon.
This is definitely a series that deserves a view if you are looking for a light-hearted, but violent-intense action film.

I stumbled upon this on Amazon Prime; and I'm glad I did. Great plot and acting. This series is fantastic and highly recommended. I'm telling all my friends. I'm not sure what the other reviews are watching BUT IT's not this Series.

This one wasn't really action per say, but it was more of a hardcore adventure film and i was literally glued to the screen the whole time. Something about this one was different whether it was the characters and cast, the acting, or just the story. The story in this one was so complex and unique which is something that is kind of hard to find. I really enjoyed this movie and it was so neat and cool.

Just finished watching on Prime (found by accident). It appears this is an Independent series - you can tell by the budget. Not that it's bad. Just they did not have millions of dollars to dangle around. What they had to work with, I enjoyed the series.

Has an excellent soundtrack, plenty of gore, and a twisted sense of humor that suits my personality quite well. This film is like an tootsie pop there are layers to it just like the 50 licks to the end. A movie like this isn't suppose to be this good but it simply is. The actors are not very famous, but sometimes the best films have no name actors-and sometimes you get the best performances out of them because they're not full of themselves. I like watching Amazon Prime series because you can find series such as this that you didn't know existed.
The blend of sci-fi, action, and thriller was very good, and the stunts and action scenes themselves were memorable.

I liked the comic banter in Ep3 and Ep4. The fight scenes were intense, and the figurative message found in the film is likely to make one ponder the purpose of their existence. I understood the humor and symbolism shown in Ep3. I suppose others just aren't bright enough to understand.

Well, I usually give movies the benefit of the doubt and start from a 5, going from there:
Production: 6 some small things wrong, +1 for nicely done special effects, -1
Story / Script: +6 for decent main idea, -0.5 for DBZ/Matrix/Street Fighter
Acting / Characterization: -1 for bad bad acting, although it gets a little better as the film progresses,
Conclusion: This is not a "film," this is a TV series. There's really nothing to analyze, it's just good, (relatively) clean fun. Lots of really attractive actors and actresses. Lots of boys fighting and violence. If you like cute actors and actresses, supernatural special effects, and/or mindlessly fun plots, this movie is for you

The scenes dripped with style, yet that style never seemed distracting. None of it was self congratulatory or gluttonous. The visuals were supported by a truly emotional score and its hard to find fault in the use of great soundtrack choices that found their way into some of the more impressive scenes.
The story is very much thought provoking. Its the type that leaves you pondering the possibilities voiced by the characters. There is nothing condescending about this film. Answers aren't simply handed out, rather the viewer is left to draw many conclusions instead. The acting is also top notch. This show is compelling, eerie, intense, haunting, evocative, potent, sad, and heroic. Why is this film great?: Mario Carneiro gives a stellar performance as Duncan Reinstein. This character goes through so many emotional beats, and hairy situations. The villain alongside Mario is played perfectly by Tommy Fury, and he's truly someone we can all say we've felt like, or seen at some point. This film is a wonderful piece of film making. It was so original. It isn't often that you go to a film that you feel is something that hasn't ever been thought of before. I think that is one of the strongest parts of the film series.
The storyline is a bit hard to grasp but only in the sense that it makes the viewer an active participant in the process. As the episodes get deeper and deeper I'm more compelled to want more. I would recommend you check out Reflections: Project Chameleon.

It's like the time Hanson plays in the car and you're with your friends so you don't wanna admit you like it - that's what Reflections is to me. It's a guilty pleasure. It's not an embarrassment at all but what it is - it simply is (indie film).
It's not a hollywood production as some of the scenes I think could have been done differently and executed better acting. It seemed some actors were not actors just some friends thrown in the movie. It's worth the six episodes you will find clever lines and some well executed fight scenes. I do admire some of the scenes and think some are at the hollywood level in terms of writing and set design, however at times some scenes were subpar. It's a solid 6 in my book.

For every film there lies a villain. My favorite villain was Vladimir who was in all the episodes I've watched so far Ep1-Ep3. He reminds me of Hannibal Lector. It is beautiful, it's decadent and yes, it's gory (but not as much as the puritans say). But it's witty.

Episode 4 is my favorite. The dialogue between Vladimir and the women in the car is the strongest in the series. Vladimir's character shines in this moment; some of the other scenes are a bit dull but emphasizes the story. Also can appreciate the humor about the fork regarding the detectives.
