interesting
ops-525357 February 2019
From a grumpy old mans standpoint. its about women liberation, the modern women, and especially the imoralistic sexual liberation that the latest 2 and a half generations have fought for and still fights for.there are many reasonable questionaries made, but as it reveals in the second half, its based on ''good and healthy'' christian reasoning. so be faithful, give your partner orgasm, dont have sex before marriage, and get rid of the pill......will this make life happier for the modern women? i will not answer that since im an sterilized grumpy old man in a relatively happy marriage with an overeducated , still doing even more specials wife, have 3 kids whos relative healthy and well. do i recommend a watch, by all means do that.

Awful Religious Propaganda
bluefaeryglitter25 February 2019
This movie was extremely anti-women. The so-film maker uses Catholicism as an excuse to force 1950s ideas on to women. I fact checked a few of his "statistics" & they were false. Also being an actual woman neither myself or any women I know would agree with his insane idea that the pill has ruined all of our lives. He seems downright terrified of strong independent women who are in control of their own bodies & lives. He starts the movie saying he's concerned about the future for his young daughters, but it seems more like he's afraid of them growing up & taking full agency of their minds & bodies. It's pathetic & extremely sad for his daughters. Women can have plenty of dignity, happiness & love regardless of whether or not they are on birth control & virginity or as his ultra Catholic "experts" call it chastity is not a measurement of a good woman. Please do not waste your time watching this horrible piece of garbage!

The radiography of how our culture went to hell
nim-rod776 February 2019
THe women revolution, or rather the same as today, a few extreme women that projected their own flawed and dissatisfied value system upon the world. the power of the media, and the brainwashing it incurred. it took so long to realize the destructive path we took. personally i believe a poliamorous philosophy is ideal, and this new age feminism clearly got the world closer to it.. but on the wrong dimension. A culture prioritizing sensuality over other values runs humanity in the ground. this documentary is one of the steps towards taking control back over our value systems

If only men could get pregnant...
tinerbell6 March 2019
Opposite of what I expected. I was looking for an empowering show on the strengths of woman to maybe share with my 3 sons. Instead I found a judgmental, religious documentary that tries to beautify all aspects of fertility and child bearing without the realities. The men in this make me crazy. I want to jump through the screen. They make it all sound so natural and wonderful. Were the wives not available to share stories or agree with opinions? Gosh...maybe they were watching all the kids or giving birth to the next one. Natural family planning?? Try to get your boyfriend or husband involved in that. This documentary masquerades as one that empowers woman but it made me feel like I should feel weaker. Lucky for me I'm a strong woman.

Incredible movie with hard to face truths

This movie made us face some very uncomfortable realities. I found myself in many of the stories and facts. Hopefully I can do better for my daughter.

Amazing....ly terrible
jlareau10 April 2019
I'm dying right now. My wife wanted to show me this great new documentary she was watching. She was surprised it was convincing her. Apparently she didn't pick up on the fact this is some crazy religious anti-feminist bs until I brought up turtleneck lady. If you're trying to get a cult put together, look no further for your first member.

A few valid points...
kehenry15 March 2019
First, the moral bankruptcy of the Catholic Church with regard to sexuality means this documentary has zero authority, since those are the teachings it is based on. There are, however, valid points about hook-up culture, which is destructive for everyone. I have two teenage sons and there are two points I've tried to drill into their heads, both based on the reality that no contraception is foolproof: 1) if you have sex and she gets pregnant, you have no say in what happens next - it will be up to her (and, since you are minors, her parents), so you may find yourself grappling with what abortion means to you, or you may find yourself parenting; 2) based on the last point - don't have sex with someone you wouldn't want to parent with. A child that she decides to raise will tie you together forever... and since both of my sons are adopted, they know that even in the case of adoption, they still have an obligation to allow for a connection to their birth child. Children are not taught the reality of parenting - heavy doses of babysitting challenging children is a great contraceptive.

Stop the Music!
gsandra-268764 July 2019
Another film where the music overwhelms the narration and interviews. It's a struggle to listen to the voices of experts and other contributors to the subject of women's struggles through social roles from maternal imperatives to evolution of women in the workplace -- deciding their own fate free from life-altering pregnancies.

The historical pace of women's social evolution is well outlined in this documentary, but the music is so loud. I can't imagine why the director or film editor released this film in this horrible state. No wonder the IMDB rating is so low. The music ruined this film -- so annoying!
