After all the hype, a bit of a disappointment. Chad Lowe was overhyped, not his best work. I'd like to see more Jonas.

Who killed Hailey's fiancé is solved
wjspears6 February 2022
Warning: Spoilers
Who killed Hailey's fiancé is finally revealed, but I didn't find it particularly satisfying.
The introduction of another previously undiscovered death, of Emma, raises more questions than answers. The most basic being why would Emma not tell anyone her suspicions about the shady "goings-on" at the university? And how could her sudden disappearance go so completely unnoticed by anyone at the university?
Moving more to the present. The cold case of Will's murder is re-opened, because it is agreed that Hailey was the target, not her fiancé. In the end, it is never really explained why only the one botched attempt was ever made on Hailey's life.
These, and several other inconsistencies make this a less than satisfying conclusion to the series long mystery that has haunted Hailey Dean.
That said, the actual final scene between Hailey and the ultimate killer was very well done. We felt, and Kelle Martin was terrific at playing, the mix of rage, anxiety, and the fear of what that rage would make her become.
Add to that the nice interplay between Hailey's friends and herself. They were supportive, while at the same time concerned about her. It was also very well acted, and felt genuine.
