Sf Studios has boarded “Forever,” a football-themed film directed by Anders Hazelius, the award-winning director of “Thunder in My Heart” and the popular TV series “Tunna Blå Linjen.”
Tackling friendship, love and football, “Forever” is based on a script by Jessika Jankert (“So Damn Easy Going”) and produced by Stefan Lindén (“Eagles”) and Erik Lundqvist (“Pink Cloud Syndrome”) for Sf Studios.
“Forever” stars emerging actors Flutra Cela and Judith Sigfridsson as Mila and Kia, a pair of teenage best friends and aspiring football professionals. When the girls get a new demanding football coach Lollo (Agnes Lindström Bolmgren), they slowly start to drift apart. The cast is completed by Mustapha Aarab (“Vinterviken”) and Eleftheria Gerofoka (“Call Mom!”).
The film will start shooting in Uddevalla, Sweden, in June 2022 and is expected to be released in Swedish theaters in spring 2023.

Banijay Nordic company Jarowskij has unveiled “A Class Apart,” a new eight-part drama series commissioned by Viaplay, which Banijay Rights will distribute internationally. Based on an original idea from Henrik Schyffert and Gustaf Skördeman, the series unspools within a secret society at on of Sweden’s top boarding schools. After a hazing ritual goes wrong and an alumni is found dead, a student from a nearby disadvantaged public school is accused of murder. The series was written by Michaela Hamilton (“Eagles”) and Erik Eger and stars Aliette Opheim (“Caliphate”) and Valter Skarsgård (“Lords of Chaos”). Eger, Andrea Östlund (“The Restaurant”) and David Berron direct. Jarowskij, Brommamamma, Viaplay, Film I Väst and Banijay Rights all co-produce.

Abacus Media Rights has closed a series of sales for the CBC/HBO Max original comedy program “Sort Of” ahead of its premiere on CBC’s streaming services Gem and CBC TV in November and in the U.

The streaming service has confirmed that “Hunters,” a new series from “Us” director Jordan Peele, will start its run this month. Al Pacino stars in his first TV series as a Nazi hunter working in 1977 New York City with a young crew led by Logan Lerman.
In addition, we get the second half of the first season of “Clifford” as well as the debut of a documentary series about the NFL team in the City of Brotherly Love, “All or Nothing: The Philadelphia Eagles.”
