Found footage documentary, presenting the city of Budapest, Hungary from two points of view. One is the 8mm film reel of the home video of the Soviet Union tourists traveling to Hungary in 1986. The other one is the US news reels, covering the events of the Hungarian Uprising in 1956. The film shows us two different ways of occupation used by the Soviet Union - one is the aggressive one, where people are suppressed by tanks in their city, the other one is more subtle. It is a cultural occupation, but a very absurd one, where clueless tourists have no idea what Hungary is and what their nation did to Hungarians. But the main irony of the situation is how the citizens of USSR fought to get the chance and opportunity to travel anywhere, since they did not have any ability to travel outside of the Soviet Union at all. Tourists here enjoy their opportunity of being abroad and don't want to see that the occupied nation lives much better, than the nation they arrive from.
