There are several jump scares towards the last half hour. There's a lot of new evil and frightening entities in this installment, most specifically "The Wedding dress Demon".
The ferryman is a new demonic entity that is introduced in this film. The demon is a very frightening foe as it terrorizes a group a girls that are stuck in a house.
A ghostly bride in a White wedding dress appears throughout the film. She is covered in blood and carries a knife. Probably the most frightening of new demonic forces. She at one point stabs a character and then possess them by vomiting a bloody liquid in their mouth. Very sudden and disturbing and terrifying.
A character is terrorized by a demonic werewolf that chases them around a house. The werewolf pops out of the house's surrounding mist at points. These appearances could scare young kids.
The demon possessing the Annabelle doll manifests as a monstrous creature with horns, claws, and glowing eyes during the film.
A little girl and two teenagers get trapped in a house that is overrun with malevolent ghosts and demons. The thought can be frightening.
A teenager gets tormented by evil spirits that disguise themselves as her dead father.
A samurai outfit is seen moving by its own in some scenes. In one scene you can hear people screaming in agony as a girl passes by the suit signifying that the suit's owner has brutally killed people.
The film may be especially frightening to religious viewers, however it is by no means anti-Christian.
