"Don't Talk to Strangers" is an educational film to warn the public about the dangers of pedophiles. It was produced by the Fresno Police and although the narrator isn't credited in the short , it sure sounded like José Ferrer.
Instead of trying to understand the pedophile, the film is designed for parents and kids in order for them to take notice of unusual behaviors and report them. In the film you see a staged abduction and through quick actions of those who witnessed it, the child is ultimately saved.
This is a good training film. Some of the material is a bit dated...and you certainly cannot blame the movie for this--such as saying these people are mentally ill and can be treated...both things which many therapists today might no agree with at all.
