Continuity

Early in the episode Lisa discusses plot points of "To Kill a Mockingbird" to which Homer responds, "Spoiler alert!" and then informing her that he hasn't read the book. However, in the season 15 episode Diatribe of a Mad Housewife (2004), Homer says, "And I swore never to read again after 'To Kill a Mockingbird' gave me no useful advice on killing mockingbirds. It did teach me not to judge a man based on the color of his skin, but what good does that do me?"
At Shauna Chalmers's bat mitzvah, Groundskeeper Willie is seen in the audience and in the buffet room at the same time.

Factual errors

Lenny said that angel funders would want too much equity with respect to stock ownership when, in fact, venture capitalists would ask for equity, and angel investors would ask for a percentage of the profits.
