A decent conclusion.

I remember the case pretty well, who among us will ever forget the harrowing case of Milly Dowler, news that touched us all.

I like that Sutton had involvement in the telling of this story, I liked how he overcame obstructions from beginning to end, as a Detective he seemed to have every possible obstruction in his way. His methodical work ethic uncovered mistakes, and ultimately led to the conviction of Levi Bellfield.

A much better episode then the previous, this showed the true nature of Levi Bellfield's evil character. It delivered in terms of drama, bringing to life the harrowing crimes of Bellfield.

No wonder Clunes is in such demand, he was terrific throughout. 7/10

Sutton knows he has got his man. However the evidence against Levi Bellfield is circumstantial.

Sutton and his team need more and more methodical detective work is required. The CCTV evidence is not enough.

Worse, Sutton discovers that another force made a mistake. There was a chance that Bellfield could had been apprehended much earlier before he killed Amélie Delagrange.

The final episode seen the interrogation of Bellfield and snaps several times showing his nasty side.

It is his girlfriend that gives the police a chance to get evidence against him.

Writer Ed Whitmore knows how to make it tense, we even get two police officers shouting at each other. I did think that the domestic scenes between Sutton and his wife were a bit superfluous.

The serial ends with a touching tribute to the victims but I still felt uneasy about it all.
