Incredible story keeps getting better

I'll admit that I was a bit skeptical at the start of the season but this New York gig is turning out awesome! I like the new characters and the evolution of the Donovan clan is so interesting. Micky is up to his crazy tricks again and the back story with Bridget's man is another twist to keep me hooked. Well done!

Captures the Donovan Essence

If any episode typifies the overall appeal of the series, it's this one. Season 6 gives you the impression the writers are returning to the elements that no doubt spawned the idea for the series. It's great to see Ray definite in his actions because the pathos was wearing thin. Mickey is just too bad for words and the support cast has to be the most talented bunch of character actors ever. Fantastic stuff. I'm going to watch it again.

Great season so far, better then previous one

Greetings from Lithuania.

And just like that, with "Pudge", 4 th episode this season is already much better then previous, the weakest one. Surely they still need to end Mickey's story line ASAP, don't get me wrong, i loved everything about it but if will get out off this again, sorry its just not realistic to say the least. But other then that, this episode was the best in this season so far and reminded me of why i felt in love with this show from its pilot back in the day it aired - great and involving storylines, amazing acting and directing as well as script - this episode and as whole this season delivered just that.

Maybe I missed something....

Warning: Spoilers
This is a great episode that adds a lot to the story line. However, I'm missing something here: Brandon takes Sandy's car (he asks for her keys) and goes to get the papers from the Social Services office since Mickey and Sandy are drunk.

When he returns, Sandy has taken the money and left. She has apparently left in her own car, somehow, because Mickey and Brandon have to steal a car to go after her. It's never explained how she got her car back from Brandon before he ever got back to her house, and later at the end of the episode, she is driving her car to Boston.

I like this series and this doesn't turn me off, it's just a mystery that hasn't been addressed.

Let's not get the money back
dierregi25 August 2022
So Ray knows where the money is but he doesn't go there to retrieve it, nor sends Lena who could easily have dealt with the situation, because? WTF, that part doesn't make sense. Ray's just putting himself into a tight spot with Sam for no reason whatsoever.

I really don't know why the keep Mick in the show because his antics are just unbelievable and his plot line is repetitive... guy plans something criminal but messes it up like, EVERY SINGLE TIME.

And now, even Bridge's boyfriend is a criminal, of course...
