This weeks episode felt incomplete and short. The writers did a horrible job with writing, it felt like they were lazy, there were like many loopholes and unexplained things going on.
It seems to me that putting almost whole season in the backstory is too much, and then, and in the same time leaving us, ironically with unanswered questions. I seriously doubt that the finale will be any good after seeing this. I hope I am wrong, but if episode 10 is not 1 hour and 30 minutes long, I don't know how will they fix this mess of episode 8 and 9.

This episode was overacted and shined brightly with too much nonsensical facts, now time traveling too!? Everyone seems to be time traveling, are main characters going into a coma next. Wake up as s different actor?! AHS used to hold my attention but now I find myself walking away from the tv. Maybe it's actually working for me.

Absolutely enjoying season 8

Why the hate? Some of us are really enjoying this wickedly fun season 8!
So this episode is the 2nd last in this season and you can sorta guess how it will finish in the finale with a magical practice that could have fatal results!
And that's all I'm saying folks.
Also never spoil important points in your reviews (I'm from a generation that never had the Internet to spoil a show or movies surprises...peace)
Maybe you should see through those eyes:

The season is not necessarily about the end of the world, although it is, it is about the preproperation pro act. All episodes end up adding something to the story, if you see by that point, and of course, that in some episodes it ends up wrapping the plot, but that's part, it's what keeps people like you entertained even you supposedly not liking. But the series is developing very well, and creating a plot that involves you episode by episode, how everything was architected, and if you are a person who sees with these eyes it becomes an extremely good season. Now if you expect the reconstruction of the world, and how it would be, I'm sorry, but this is going to be a little explored, after all this would not be important, since people like us (and if this series were really real, I might not be in that "us"). You will not be alive, and the series is not about survival, it's about about terror, however psychological it is, not visual. And if you were really interested in the film industry, you would have realized that the focus of the series has not been this for a long time, and that this is one of, if not the best season to date.
R u kidding me?

Amazing episode!

There have been one or two reviewers here who have summed up this episode far better than I could. Suffice to say that it was an amazing contribution to the season.
Something else that is pretty amazing to me are the people here who have clearly watched this show season after season and KNOW that every season is tied up nicely by the end. Still, there is ALWAYS complaining throughout the season about how things should be this way or that. Take the show for what it is. It truly doesn't OWE you anything. but rest assured that this season will have an amazing finale, just like it has for the past seven seasons.

Could this be carried over for the next two seasons

In the first three episodes they moved time forward by two years, could it be that this is a build up to the last season with a final show down
When Cordelia, Madison and Myrtle come it's Halloween. And Madison says "surprised to see me bitch"
There's to many questions created in this series? How is it possible to finish a whole story with just one episode left in this season .

First off I just want to say that I'm really sad that part of the Coven Witches are all dead. And I'm also sad that Bubbles is dead, and zoe and queenie as well are dead. Overall I'm really mad at Dinah for helping Ms.Meade and Michael to get into the Coven House to kill half of the coven. Also, I cannot believe that Jeff ( played by Evan Peters ) and also Mutt ( played by Billy Eichner ) we're the ones who made Venable the leader of the Outpost 3. Also I cannot wait for the season finale.
WE DONT NEED ANY MORE BACKSTORY OMG
shunkhood8 November 2018
Still not as disappointing as last weeks episode, but why are you giving us even more backstory and leaving the last episode to conclude this mess they've made?
It's looking more and more like season 9 is going to be the first to continue off of another season. If they don't do that what they've done with the second half of season 8 is completely unbearable. I hate the fact that they just drag on the mess they made from last episode. They explain nothing. This episode was just some more backstory that they're going to reverse.
Are they going to address how season 5 ends while apocalypse is happening? Probably not. They better justify this with season 9 or a 3 hour last episode that isn't backstory. Pretty Frustrating. I recommend watching it only for the useful info, the 5 minutes that actually was useful.

I still love this show but there is one plot twist I can't forgive...

In this episode, when Michael goes to kill the coven witches, he kills Bubbles too (Joan Collin's character).
Here's the thing... isn't she a part of the future when his gay hairdresser grandson takes her to the post?
How does she come to life again if , after this, Cordelia is shown trying to revive everyone only to be told by Madison that he 'erased' the souls of the people he kills?
That's like the only thing that bothers me because I do love all this series. This might be my favourite one, but that one plot hole kills me every time I watch it. The following episode is much better!!! But huge plot hole there.

The Co-Operative!

Warning: Spoilers
This episode begins with Jeff and Mutt, they are using drugs again. Back at the Coven Mallory is learning new things. Michael arrived at the Coven. Miriam shot down Queenie, Bubbles, Zoe and all the other girls, they died instantly. Dinah works with Michael now. Cordelia, Myrtle, Coco, Mallory and Madison survived the attack. Michael erased Queenie and Zoe their soul. The Witches try to do a ritual to get their girls back. Mallory goes back one hundred years to save the girls. Mallory didn't succeed. Myrtle and Cordelia arrived at Outpost Three, all the men were killed of the boys school. Michael gives a speech for the Co-Operative, he says that it is time for the Apocalypse. Nice episode of American Horror Story Season 8, this episode fits the storyline more then last two episodes. Michael wants to end the world, will he succeed?
The plot is a mess...
jurirupertmueller8 November 2018
I really used to love this season, but right now I'm not sure what to think about the whole storyline. It doesn't put everything together like the first six episodes did, it just adds more confusing narratives which I think are really hard to follow. I can't imagine the next week's final episode will answer all the questions that came up during the last two episodes and I'm afraid it will all just end in a bloody mess like it already is.
Boring!! Where are the badass episodes with uniqueness

Warning: Spoilers
This episode and the previous one are a complete waste. They're just adding straw because they don't know what to do anymore.
I thought this was moving foward to something amazing.
They even killed my favorite witches without them even fighting back. But i guess they are probably going to resurrect the girls in season 9. I hope so!!. because of the background story it would made sense... At least madison is alive. I would love to see more action with her character and not only the new girl. do something

Is this Apocalypse or Coven part 2?
zdflanders10 November 2018
How is the last episode also the finale? This season started incredibly intriguing with Michael Langdon finally making his big debut after his appearance in Murder House. Instead of continuing the plot with Michael bringing those he deems worthy to the sanctuary, the writers decided to make Coven part 2. WTF Coven is the worst season of AHS (or maybe that's Freak Show). What happened to the genetically perfect teens they picked to survive the apocalypse? They made such a big deal about them in the first two episodes only to kill them off and resume Coven's horrible plot-hole filled storyline. I'm seriously disappointed because the idea of an entire season on the apocalypse is so intriguing and they ruined it.
Boring.

2 out of 5 stars.
Well this episode goes downhill with boredom with the concept of witches trying to stop Michael Langdon. With the witches going back in time to prevent one massacre to change history. Concept is dumb. I do like Michael Langdon and his reign to bring the apocalypse.

Could it possibly get more stupid? After each episode I find myself thinking it couldn't possibly get worse and yet I should just wait till the next one. The only good thing about it is that there's only one left. Worst show ever!
Just wasting my time...

BUT:
Every episode is just worse and worse, even witches get back because the creators didn't had any idea how to end this crap... worthless piece of.... you know... i feel sad for people who are still watching AHS seasons...

Okay so here we start AGAIN with the Mutt and Jeff routine. I can't stand Eichner he's so hard to watch. Evan Peters I can watch all day.
This episode....seems to plod along to me.
Nothing noteworthy good or bad really. 5/10.
