Mel and Sue aren't to blame, but this is garbage.

It's funny, I was talking about how shockingly bad some of the shows were when I was growing up (Eighties) and having watched the Larry Grayson documentary I thought I'd check this out for nostalgia. What was once a great show, now just seems like a tacky mess, I don't for one second blame Mel and Sue, because they're a fun and energetic duo. I just think society has changed, if people want to watch members of the Public sinking to the bottom of the barrel making utter fools of themselves, watch The Jeremy Kyle show or X Factor.

It was a nice idea, but for the memories of the great Bruce Forsyth, and the great Larry Grayson, please just shelve it, because it isn't fair on their legacies.

The part with Danny Dyer was absolutely horrific, he seemed to have no clue what he was doing there, other then picking up a pay cheque.

This isn't doing anyone any favours. Why are those celebrities sat on the sofa? I just don't get it.

It is bad. 2/10

The Generation Game is a beloved show, everyone remembers watching it growing up, with much like Dr Who there being one host who was 'yours'.

Sadly some people will only remember Mel and Sue (who keeps giving them work??) as the hosts. Which is a great shame, as this is a poor incarnation indeed.

It's a shame because a big game show like this is just what the BBC need, and the format deserves better, but this version needs forgetting.

MEL AND SUE WERE THE WRONG CHOICE TO HOST THE GENERATION GAME! THEY HOSTED THE MEL AND SUE CHAT SHOW ON ITV IT WAS AXED AFTER ONLY SIX WEEKS! BRUCE FORSYTH AND LARRY GRAYSON WERE LEGENDS ON THE GENERATION GAME THEY MADE THE SHOW A LEGEND! SADLY EVERYTHING MEL AND SUE HAVE HOSTED HAS EITHER BEEN AXED OR THEY WERE SACKED FROM IT AS MEL AND SUE ARE USELESS THEY ARE AS RUBBISH AS ANT AND DEC! ID LAY THE GENERATION GAME TO REST ITS OVER AS ITS TWO LEGENDARY HOSTS ARE NO LONGER WITH US! THE BBC MUST NEVER BRING IT BACK ITS GONE WE CANT BRING BRUCE AND LARRY BACK AS THEYSADLY DIED! MEL AND SUE ARE TALENTLESS FREAKS THEY COULDNT RUN A CHIMPS TEA PARTY AS THEY ARE TERRIBLE AND SHOULD GET OFF THE TELLY FOREVER!
