A breath of fresh air.
Filmfanatic9778 April 2019
The film was like a breeze of fresh air for someone who was suffocating with mediocre Nepali films since last few years. It was something which i had never seen in Nepali cinema. The narrative was so unusual yet so intriguing. The directors duo beautifully sketched the centeral character Hari played By Bipin Karki. It felt like we could read hari's mind. Hari is an ordinary guy living his ordinary life and his fantasies. But Bipin Karki did a great job here making the ordinary character extraordinary. I could see people giggling in threatre throughout.

If i have to talk about the technicalities, This must be the most technically sound Nepali film of recent time. The lighting, the camerawork, the color, the editing, the sound, everything looks top notch. Well i can go on writing about it but it'll get too long for you to read. In short, Hari is the film which you should't miss. The makers have taken a risk by choosing such a bold and unique storytelling. We should go and encourage them so that we get to see more of such high quality Nepali cinema in future.

Experimental Nepali Movie

Well, support this kind of cinema which are made in Nepal. Though, movie isn't perfect but it is good. Story telling style, cinematography, background music and acting by most of actors were nice. Although movie is just 1 hour and 46 minute long still I felt movie was long just because of loose screenplay, I guess. Editing was good and director have done a decent job.

Bipin Karki goes out of box to provide new dimension in Nepali cinema
Rajit_thebingewatcher31 December 2022
On a crowd of cliches, unwanted unoriginal scripts hari is a breathe of fresh air in Nepali cinema. The story of 30 years old vegetarian parnami who slowly discovers himself and comes out of the cocoon.

The story follows " the black swan" approach where you know the character is slowly changing . He is talking to his inner selves. The effect of different people in the past in his life is shown sometimes in the form of his dreams , sometimes hallucinations and that makes the movie very creative. On the other hand the same approach stops the movie being a mass , crowd puller movie . So does the risk worth ? Even I watched it on YouTube. Bipin Karki goes out of traditional approach to give new dimension to the Nepali movie.

Psychological drama
dahalmokshya19 December 2022
It critics the Nepali society with the psychological analysis of the protagonist, like how the parents suppress the kids because of their fear and prejudice, the frustration and sense of meaninglessness from the job. Now to what this entails for our protagonist, watch this movie. Worth every second of your time invested. An illiterate here gave this low rating but that is due to deficiency in his thinking capacity rather than the movie. Also the dark comedic style makes you laugh a few times and lightens the mood from the heavy subject matter.

Bipin Karki also has given wonderful performance. It shows how versatile his acting skills are. Completely new character from what you have previously seen him do.

Absolutely Disgusting

Cant believe I spent my money on watching this . Simply a waste of time. The whole movie circulates between Bishnu Hari going from house to his office. I believe Bipin Karki is an amazing actor but this movie was a total piece of junk.
