FOX, what are you waiting for?

I'm out of words. For real. It's so difficult to talk about this show and its 4th season, the best so far for me.

When you think they've given you something extraordinary, they surpass theirselves every week. After the great "Birth of The Joker" finale in episode 18, we get a great first look of what Jeremiah has in store in "That Old Corpse".

Tonight, "One Bad Day" gets it to the next level and gives us the Killing Joke episode of the series, an episode with so much emotion, so much action (without having people necessarily running and shooting) and Cameron Monaghan's absolutely brilliant performance as Jeremiah.

The ending shocked me, even though my comic book knowledge made me feel a little bit safe.

Gotham is the best DC TV Show and the least it deserves is a renewal, because the best is yet to come. I'm absolutely certain that the season finale episode "No Man's Land" will blow everyone away!

Killing Joke(ish)

In many ways, "One Bad Day" could have served as an exciting and a little depressing season finale for Gotham, but thankfully we have another one to go before season four wraps. The title hints at a very pivotal moment not just for this gloomy chapter of the show, but also for the series as a whole. I absolutely adored the Killing Joke reference and I'm happy to say that Jeremiah (Cameron Monaghan) is not disappointing as the new big baddie in town. What also stuck out was the streamlined plot. Each and every character left their own agenda's hanging to contribute to Jeremiah's bomb crisis within the city and that paid off nicely. But with the shocking and emotional end scene still fresh in my mind, this season sure built up nicely and has established an epic, if slightly rushed end-game.

Again over-the-top insanity

Loving the direction this season has been taking, seeing all these bizarre, colorful characters interacting more than they ever have. All the action scenes were darkly fascinating. Jeremiah remains entertaining in his "controlled" insanity. Bullock also did a great job reacting to the trials put before him.

Only weak spot is the Riddler/Lee dynamic. It's been stretched a little too long and the Riddler doesn't seem as smart as usual in this episode.
