There are three plot elements. Alexis gets on a dating site and sees a guy who is knock out gorgeous and a veterinarian, like Ted. They have a date and the results are quite stunning. Meanwhile, Johnny crashes the Jazzagirls practice and ends up singing a baritone part. He is recruited to joint them, but this leads to some hard feelings. The funniest is when Stevie talks David, who is currently depressed, to going on a spa weekend that she has booked on Groupon. They pretend to be a honeymooning couple. It is outrageous on the one hand and precious on the other. The last few episodes have been so touching and show what a wonderful set of characters they are.

Alexis uses a dating app and wonders if she should go meet Ted's rival who is the other vet in town. At the restaurant Twyla dries glasses and furrows her brows when giving suggestions to Alexis.
Stevie drags David to a hotel with a spa where their room is decorated with love decorations. There is a tub in the middle of the room. Stevie had told the staff they are on a honeymoon to get the free stuff and booze.
At the hotel's restaurant they sit on one couch together and wear headbands. Their waitress makes a sex joke saying tonight should be fun right and winks.
Alexis walks into the bar looking sexy - silver one shoulder dress, wavy hair and dark eyes. She meets the vet and they sit at the bar where they drink Zhampagne from France.

David and Stevie lay on the bed in robes and masks. David says he realized now he did not have any best friends and Stevie is the first one. Stevie says she knows everything about his past and dating and she has not left him. He was hanging with the wrong people. David is also her first friend.
Moira tells David she realized how precious her time with the Jazzagals really is. It is her social life now.
