Ty's absence from this episode is felt but not explained in the story at all.

When Mitch milks the cow, he says it should be enough milk. You should always milk a cow until you've gotten all the milk. If you don't, they will produce less in the future.
New writers don't know their characters well. Amy would not have begrudged Lisa the unused bedroom when baby Lyndy's nursery was already set up in the loft.
Lisa would have never set all her craft stuff over the family dining table. Just ridiculous.
